WASTE MANAGEMENT

Comments: The price is reasonable but the service is terrible. Not infrequently they would skip the weekly pickup for garbage if there was too much snow in a way or if someone had parked their car in the wrong spot. This became so annoying that subconsciously I became more worried about the garbage pickup on Wednesdays than my normal life. I would arise early to make sure the snow was shoveled in front of the garbage cans and would run outside and tell people to move their cars.
My wife died last week thus we have had a lot of visitors and a lot of garbage. This morning a visitor a parked car near the garbage cans and we were skipped. I contacted Waste Management by telephone and they were unwilling to come by again unless I paid a fee. I would gladly pay more to have better and kinder service.

I didn't go with this company. I could not justify the price when another competitor offered the same exact service for less than half the cost.

So far, they have been very responsive to my requests and close the lid on the bin every time (which Republic NEVER did).  When the guy came to deliver my bin for the first time, I happened to have some construction materials I needed to have removed.  I asked for an estimate to haul the materials away, and he said he would just throw them in the back of the truck and take them for me that day, with no additional charge!  So far, everything has been good.

The price listed above is for 3 months. We have not had them that long but so far they are great. They empty the garbage and turn the cans over. Their price is fair.
