This is the second complete system that Mauder has installed for me. We purchased a home that had boiler heat. We tried to salvage the boiler, but it was too far gone. I contacted Troy Mauder for an estimate. As usual, he was able to get me scheduled for an appointment quickly, and at a convenient time. Troy really had to think this one out, as my home had no duct work(due to boiler system). He devised a plan and got me an estimate. In the mean time, I had gotten estimates from 4 other heating contractors just to compare and keep everyone's pricing honest. Mauder was higher than two of the others, but the quality and care that they put into my other home's heating system was what convinced me to pay a little extra. I'm glad that I did.
I accepted the proposal from Troy, and he scheduled me for 7:30am on a Tuesday. Troy and his crew were in my driveway and ready to go at 7:29am that day. Big points for being on time! Troy then had me walk through with him and his crew to talk about the installation of the ducting and the heating and a/c equipment. He spent about 30 minutes making sure that we were all on the same page with the installation, and made sure to answer my questions.
The total time of the job was about 5-1/2 days. It was complex, but his foreman, Al, made it look and function great! I thought we would have a monstrosity of a furnace taking up half the basement, but I was wrong. They positioned it to be efficient, but were also able to get the ducting up and out of the way, in spaces that I never would have expected it to fit. The only hiccup on the whole job was quickly sorted out, and Troy made a very generous gesture to make sure that I was happy.
The long and short of it is this: If you have them out, hire them. You won't be disappointed. I move on average about every 2 years, so I have no doubts that I'll need their services again. While I'll still get estimates from other contractors for pricing references, I will almost certainly hire Troy and his team regardless.

It went very well.  I will not call on any further heating and plumbing companies.  Mauder Heating & Air Conditioning did a very thorough job and saved me a lot of aggravation.  They even informed me on how to correct the problem in the future so I won't have to call.  Excellent customer service.

Outstanding service and high quality installation. My house had no heating system as a result of thieves taking all of the radiators while the home was vacant. Troy's crew came in and ran a complete attic duct system, installed registers, new furnace and air conditioning unit. The entire system looks great. It cools very nicely even without any drywall in half the house and no insulation. Troy was very helpful from the beginning. He was actually the 4th of 5 contractors we had give us estimates. From the beginning, he took his time explaining each option and system and never tried to push or upsell a more expensive system. The crew arrived on time each day and the job was completed in the exact time that he quoted. The price was good. They aren't cheap, but the quality and workmanship is worth the extra couple of hundred dollars over the other guys. I would highly recommend giving Mauder a call with any heating and cooling needs. A+ quality, workmanship, punctuality, professionalism, and service.

I contacted 4 HVAC companies to give me product recommendation and quotes on a new HVAC sytem. Mr Mauder met with me to determine my needs and spent a considerable amount of time explaining the pros and cons of the various models of the carrier equipment he sells. He did a "J" calculation to determine heat loss and gain in order to determine accurately the size of each unit. He thoroughly explained the rebates available to me. A few days later he mailed me a detailed price quote and we agreed on an installation date. The installation took 2 days and the technicians were very prompt and cleaned up thoroughly afterward. The following day Mr Mauder returned to test the system, inspect their work, and give me a detailed explanation of the operation and maintenance of my new system. I highly recommend this company to anyone needing any HVAC equipment or service.

They opened up the furnace, showed me exactly what was wrong and what they would do to fix it. They were very kind and walked me through the whole process.
