Extremely well! I am hiring them now to do another part of the roof and to work on my gutters.

Exceptional people. Hard working, helpful and diligent. Kept us informed every step of the way, especially when they found things we needed to make decisions on. Brandon was the supervisor and he is an amazing young man. Knowledgeable, precise, communicates well and does not mind the customer questions/ interruptions., He is a GREAT Adviser. The crew was hard working, focused on their jobs and clean. VERY hard working guys. Our roof was OLD and needed a lot of TLC, new boards, clean out of rotten wood, mildew. Now, It is as good as new, or better... Whoever next owns this house (we'll be here for awhile) can be assured it is rock-solid. Gary, the owner is a real professional. Very patient, detailed and communicates well. High recommendation.

The team arrived on time and got to work right away. They removed the old storms,prepped the opening and installed the new ones. The house has two floors. Everything was caulked properly and any mess was cleaned up. The windows are beautiful and really change the way the house looks.

A four man crew arrived as scheduled, and material arrived as scheduled. Neat organized work crew that paid attention to details. At noon the first day the crew leader walked me around the house and asked questions on how I wanted certain details handled. So they got everything done the way I wanted. They finished the siding in 3 days and cleaned up the area well. A crew followed a couple of days later to do the gutters and downspouts. We couldn't be more pleased with the way the house turned out and the quality of the job.

The roof over the garage storage area was completely rotted. I had gotten several estimates before I came across Home Exteriors on Angie's list. One company said I should tear off the structure completely because he didn't know how to address the roof problems (it was an addition to the garage). Gary was confident that they could replace the roof without any trouble. Additionally, I had three skylights that leaked for years. Gary said his company specialized in skylights. So he included the replacement of the skylights in the roof job. One of the skylights was completely rotted due to improper installation. Home exteriors replaced the damaged wood and cleaned up what they found..black mold! The roof had three layers which was torn off and replaced. I also had new gutters installed. Once Gary notified me the job was finished. I took a look around and found a few things I wanted changed...mostly due to aesthetics. I sent him pictures of the items I wanted changed. He said.."No problem" and first the thing next morning his crew was back on the job! They stayed until I was completely satisfied. The crew was hard working, accommodating and did an awesome job with the clean up afterwards. One night they worked in the dark! I highly recommend Home Exteriors. Gary is very easy to work with and his price was very good. Thanks for a great job Gary and crew! 8/28/14-Update-a week after my new roof was installed we had an extremely heavy rain. As I was sitting in my family room I heard the dreaded...drip..drip. Yes, the roof was leaking..UGH. It started in the corner then traveled the length of a beam (cathedral ceiling). I immediately sent Gary a text of what was happening. He promptly returned my call and sent two guys out to see what was the problem. They looked at the area and said it was a gutter problem. That it was not sloped correctly. They removed the gutter and did a water test, however, the roof still leaked. So the next day they sent out a crew and removed that section of shingles and repaired that area, plus they re-positioned the gutter. The area that leaked was an addition to the original structure. I did advise Home Exteriors when I obtained an estimate that I had that area repaired a few years back but that it still leaked on occasion, hence one of the reasons for getting a new roof. While they have always been VERY responsive, I felt that the quality of work was not an "A" rating and lower it to "C" average. I realize anyone can make a mistake and they were very apologetic. Unfortunately, now I am concerned about the overall workmanship of the job. There hasn't been a heavy rain since so I don't know if it will happen again..

Truly outstanding experience! Gary provided a detailed quote that covered all aspects of the service. They called a few days prior to the delivery of materials and proactively called to update the schedule when a series of rainy days caused a small delay. The work was completed on time and as promised. I can highly recommend this company!

Spoke with scheduling department on Monday, Gary came by on Tuesday, the roof project was commenced on Wednesday. Their work was quick - not too quick - careful, excellent clean-up, fine work. Gary and his crews did an excellent job, and we feel very secure with our new, great-looking roof and gutters. Would definitely recommend and use again. Very nice folks who do excellent work - not quite sure what more you could want. Not a single complaint.

Gary gave a detailed estimate and was patient as I got other estimates and had new questions. It was a large project involving removing 3 layers of roofing (bottom layer was wood shake shingle, no decking).While not the lowest estimate, it was the lowest with the most experience and great Angie's list & BBB ratings. The roofing was removed, decking put on, new roofing installed, fascia board was replaced along with new gutters and downspouts. The chimneys were tuck pointed and chimney caps put on. The roofing took about 3 days once they started. A crew of 8 worked very hard. Crew manager, Brandon, was very helpful and found a great solution to the problem of what to do with the gap left along the siding edges when 3 layers of roofing was only 1 layer. Brandon was very helpful, answering all my questions as they went along. The clean-up was good (I did find a few nails, and some splinters of shake shingle but I'm sure some was stuck in the large shrubs). The did tarp the attic and did a decent clean-up of the attic. It took 8 days before the gutter crew came out, and while not a big problem it was a little annoying. Overall I am very satisfied and would recommend Home Exteriors.

While we are pleased with the final product as it pertains to look and apparent soundness of the roof installed by Absolute Exteriors, there were a few aspects of the overall experience that compel us to share for anyone considering them for a future roofing job. Our initial meeting with Mark to discuss the job, materials, cost and timing went very well. We were pleased with his knowledge and he made it very clear he was familiar with the structure style of our house and the special considerations required for our cathedral ceilings. He took the time to explain that the standard venting would be done on the back half of the house and the garage but it could not be done where the cathedral ceilings existed over our living room and dining room and we understood the limitations. Upon signing the agreement with him, we were under the impression that we would be given a 2-3 day notice when work would begin. Nearly three weeks later, we received a late afternoon call notifying us that the materials would arrive early the next morning and the crew would arrive shortly thereafter to begin tear off and replacement. During the course of their work that afternoon, we heard sawing above our dining room and discovered a hole had been cut into our ceiling about 2?x12? at the peak. When one of the workers knocked on the door and asked to ?take a look at something?, he inspected the hole but didn?t indicate what they would do to fix it. When we asked about it a short while later, we were told they would notify the foreman of the problem but again, nothing was said to us about fixing it and the foreman did not connect with us about it. When they completed their work for the day, we were told a couple guys would be back the next day (Saturday) to finish the last small area to be shingled and we asked once again about the hole. We were told the foreman had left but they would let him know about the issue. Saturday came and no one showed up (after we had cancelled our plans) ? we called the office and asked for a return call but never received one. We called again that afternoon and asked to talk to Mark and he was not aware they were supposed to be back out ? nor was he aware of the hole that had been left in our ceiling. He explained that the place they got their materials from was closed on Saturday and someone would be out to finish on Monday ? and he would also stop by on Monday to look at the ceiling. Sunday, there was rain in the forecast and someone showed up early in the morning to tarp the corner that wasn?t shingled and then Monday, two men came to finish and Mark came to inspect the hole. He gave us the option of having them fix it or us fixing it and them knocking off some of the cost of the materials for us. After some consideration, we opted to fix it ourselves and took the discount on the materials and the deal was complete. When it was all said and done, I went on the roof to take a look and found several handfuls of nails and scrap pieces that were not cleaned up. And later, we found another handful of nails on our patio and on some of the patio furniture. While we understand it?s nearly impossible to get every single nail that comes from the tear off, the ones we found on our patio ----- where our dogs run ----- were left in plain sight on the cement slab not far from our pool. This was all frustrating but the worst came when we started finding cigarette butts in the yard, on the patio and in our flower beds and gardens. We do not smoke and we had not had guests that smoked so there is no doubt where they came from. So in summary, the roof looks great and seems sound. But the communication, follow up and attention to detail was very disappointing.

Mark Martinis came out & gave me a price that was acceptable. Job started a week earlier then expected which was great as company was coming from Florida. Tony Piazza stopped by the day before the job was to start and checked to make sure he was aware of all that I expected done and answered all my questions. The helper Terry was very efficient and pleasant also.

Salesman was professional and on time. The job was competitively priced. The roofing job was started immediately and finish very promptly even with bad weather. I didn't find a scrap of old roofing on the ground. Highly recommended

With weather, scheduling the start was a bit difficult, but the team overcame... The guys were knowledgeable, courteous, neat, and delivered beyond what they even promised. The little things were paid attention to. Timelines were met while on site, and they were great to have around. The final price was exactly what was agreed to up front and the clean up was better than we planned. Thanks Home Exteriors for a job well done. Our home exterior literally looks new and we are thankful! I would not hesitate to recommend Home Exteriors to any and all!

Marko, from Home Exteriors, came out to give us an estimate and stopped many times, while the work was being done, to check on how things were going. The estimate was significantly lower than others I had received. First, the window crew came, re-sized and replaced all the windows in the existing house, made all the repairs necessary on the inside, then installed all the new construction windows in the addition. That part of the job took about 2 weeks. When the windows were complete, the siding crew came, which took an additional week. The job was very labor-intensive, as many things had been left undone by the prior contractor. There was a significant amount of construction involved, as opposed to just installing windows and siding. At the end of the project, everything, inside and out, was left clean. They even vacuumed the carpeting, where plaster dust had fallen. Marko and both crews were ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! This project had been dormant for a long time, because of all the problems we'd had with contractors. These people made me realize there are still people who value doing a good job. I cannot say enough about the work they did. Friends who hadn't seen the house in a while asked if we'd had the old house torn down because it truly looks like a new house. I highly recommend Home Exteriors and would recommend them to anyone looking for a company to do this kind of work. I would hire them, again, in a heartbeat.

I was very pleased with the quality of their work, and I really appreciate Dave coming out a few days after I called to give me a really good quote. He was very upfront and honest, and in no way did I get the impression that he was trying to upsize me or pressure me into a sale. He was very laid back, knowledgeable, and gave me a good deal on the work I wanted completed. The only very minor issue we had is it took them some time to actually get the project started (about four weeks) after I gave them the ok... but it was their busy season and he always kept me up-to-date. I have no complaints at all in regards to the quality of work. Dave came out and we discussed a few different colors- the color he recommended was perfect and works really well. The contractor that came out had the work completed in two days, and the attached siding was snug and fit tight against the house/roof. He also did a good job of sealing the ends of the coil. My biggest concern was making sure the siding/coin was well attached, as I can't tell you how many times I've come across siding dangling off or coming off after a storm. After inspecting his work, it was clear the coil was attached well and wasn't going anywhere. Overall, I would highly recommend Home Exteriors as they gave me a wonderful price and the workmanship was of quality.

I needed a few windows replaced and an area on the side of my house needed the siding to be replaced. Some of the gutters needed to be replaced and the rest were cleaned out. I had a very nice hand built mailbox that was demolished by the snow plows over the winter months and their crew was able to reconstruct the exact same look and construct the mailbox which looks exactly the way it did 20 years ago beautiful and brand new! The crews showed up when I was told they would. Everyone from start to finish was so easy and nice to work with. They were very meticulous and left everything very clean. I could not beat the price, and everything I have been wanting to get done is finished and I have peace of mind now, thank you Home Exteriors!

Overall, HIGHLY satisfied, but there are some minor cons to be aware of that may matter more to some than to others. Still, this was a tremendous value, and the work was done very professionally. The PROS: - Quality job using quality materials, and a 50 year warranty that knocked my socks off - Came in significantly lower on the price than estimates from other leading roofing companies on Angie's List - Among the tear-down team, roofing team, facia/soffet team, and gutter team, I met at least a dozen employees, and each seemed very skilled, knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. No amateurs hired on the spot to do grunt work. - The owner met me personally and provided our estimate. He was also quick to respond to text messages, which I greatly appreciated! The minor CONS: - During the initial meeting, I informed the owner that I knew the facia and soffet were damp to the bone and that a lot of the guts would need to be replaced. Once the job had commenced, the crew finally believed what I'd told them all along, and the price went up. It still came out much lower than competitor estimates, and Gary even ate some of the cost (a gesture I appreciate), but it's always a pet peeve of mine when a contractor is given all the information up front, and yet the price goes up once the work has commenced. I don't believe there was any intention to mislead, though, and (as I pointed out) Gary was a true gentleman about it. - Trying to go through Gary's receptionist is impossible. She cannot connect you to voicemail and does not take down messages that are more than two sentences long, and it can take days to get a response. I was very grateful when Gary gave me his direct cell number. From that point on, he was amazingly responsive to texts. - Time estimates were never adhered to. Sometimes the crew came days later than was promised (even when weather wasn't an issue), and sometimes days earlier. I never minded and was grateful that the job was completed within a relatively brief time frame (four weeks for a full tear down, rebuild, and soffet/facia replacement), but if you don't like crew showing up unexpectedly, this may be a problem for you. To be fair, the crews never needed anything from us and were no bother. - Additionally, we were left without gutters on the house for a period of several days, during which several severe rainstorms had been forecast and occurred. Part of the reason Gary is able to keep costs down is that he efficiently makes use of different teams for different stages of the job, and they are not always able to line up their schedules like clock-work, but if you have a home prone to flooding, you may want to discuss this with Gary up front. - Clean-up could have been better. They did an excellent job of magnetically clearing all nails and materials (which matters most), but we're still finding pieces of old roofing in flower beds, on balconies, in window sills, and on top of window air conditioners. Also, the crews often threw their bottles near our garbage pail but not in them. IN CONCLUSION: The pros far outweigh the cons, and we will be using them again. Thanks, Gary and crew, for an excellent job!

Owner came out for estimate 24 hours after request and provided a detailed estimate during his visit. Confirmed contract over the phone later that day, and made arrangements to have crew out at end of following week. Materials arrived 2 days before work day. Crew arrived late morning, had old roof demolished by early afternoon and were done installing new shingles by evening. The crew was short on materials and had incorrect siding however, they returned early the next day to finish siding repair and roof. New gutters were installed the following day. Crew had to revisit one more time to adjust new siding. The crew did a good job, especially with containing debris and nails. Only complaint is that they trampled a few flower beds by dumping old shingles on tarps that were resting directly on top of bushes and flowers. Crew also left materials and tools on grass while they left for lunch which resulted in several dead spots in the lawn. Overall a good experience, especially for the price.

the crew arrived on time, were very organized and hard working, polite, answered all questions and did a high quality job. They even corrected the bathroom vents ( in the attic)!!! there was no damage to my exterior landscaping and clean up was impressive. I would definitely use them again! So pleased!

While delayed by rain, when started, they stuck to it tirelessly. they were punctual and neat. Answered every question I had. I would definitely recommend them.

Glass block windows went fine! Insulation had to make a few trips back to get it done to our satisfaction.

Work went well and I am very pleased.
