I like doing business with A1 Garage Doors and Openers because they are responsive, honest and affordable. I had a problem with the cables on my garage door which caused the door to close unevenly. Also, I was interested in replacing my old garage door opener. I was looking for someone who was knowledgeable, experienced in the field, and fair-priced. Within an hour of requesting an estimate, Bobby came over and took the time to explain, in detail, the problem and my options. He was very thorough. He fixed the cables on the garage door and installed a new (quieter) opener. I an very pleased with the quality of the service and recommend A1 to anyone in need of garage door and/or opener repair or replacement services.

This company has my business for any garage door repairs or installs. My situation , I thought I would have to do a a complete repkacement the guys at A1 came in and instead of trying to sell me something new, they first looked to see if the existing door could be used. They saved me so much time AND money and the workmanship is top notch!!

My kid accidentally backed into our garage door, so we booked with A1. They were super prompt and respectful. The tech gave me the option to fix it or replace it—we decided to go with a full replacement. They came out the very next day and installed a beautiful new door. Plus, they included a great warranty. John and Bobby came over and serviced my broken springs. My car was stuck in the garage and they got me out and they had my door fixed in no time. They gave me a great warranty and their prices blew the other companies away. They were respectful and prompt. Every other company told me hours later or another day. A1 came right out. If you want a fast and reliable service, call A1. They will fix it right and they take the time to explain to you how to maintain upkeep on your door also. Thank you A1!

My cable was loose so I had A1 come out and John and Bobby came out and they explained to me it was not my cables but a broken spring. He explained everything to me and had me out within 2 hours. They were very respectful and I did not feel pressured to buy anything. I recommend their service. If you want great service book then.

John called me and we set up an appointment. It took him 25 minutes to get to my house. When he got there he explained to me what my problem was and gave me several options of what we could do. He replaced my broken springs and put on new rollers and oiled my door, it is really quiet now. He gave me a awesome warranty and told me how to maintain upkeep on it also. A1 is the best garaged door company I ever used. 10 stars out of 5! They come highly recommend!

While here, he needed to replace the wires that connect the spring to the door.  He also found a number of loose points in the framing for the door, and tightened them up.  He and actually found one of the pieces that hold a roller that had been bent out of shape through the years of use and pounded it back into shape.  And, at one place, the frame had moved, so he had to unscrew it and move it what looked like about an inch.  He was very cordial and spoke clearly about what he was doing. 

When my garage door would not open in the morning, I thought it might be the remote battery. Upon going into the garage through the man door, I was appalled to see the entire opener system sitting on the roof of my car. John was available by phone as soon as I called and when I explained the situation, he arranged to come over as soon as possible. He arrived in 90 minutes, having come from a job in another county. He assessed the problem and was able to move the opener to allow me to get my car out. He then reinstalled it with additional fasteners. He was careful and thorough and explained what he was doing throughout. He adjusted the other parts of the opener system and recommended routine lubrication that I could do myself
Because this was an emergency situation, I was charged the emergency service fee which made the cost more than a regular service call would be. This was the first time that I have used A-1 Door but would certainly call them again.

John has done work for us before. I called him to fix a sagging pulley (I think that's what he called a sheave) on one garage door. John arrived when he said he would. He assessed what needed to be done, which was more than just the pulley, gave me and estimate and came back another day to fix the door. I actually had him repair two garage doors as the other one was in bad shape too. I like John, he is very knowledgeable, honestly tells you what can be repaired and what needs to be replaced, arrives on time, and completes the work without a hassle.

JOHN WAS ON TIME AS PROMISED, HE WAS COURTEOUS, DID WORK WE ASKED FOR AND QUICKLY. DOOR NOW WORKS WELL, AS HE ADJUSTED AND OILED THE WORKS, TOO. HE TOOK ONLY AN HOUR TO DO WORK. WE ARE NOW CONSIDERING HIM TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE DOOR WHEN WE DO HOME REMODELING NEXT YEAR. HE CHARGED A PREMIUM FEE FOR A SUNDAY MORNING JOB, WHICH WE FULLY EXPECTED AND UNDERSTAND. HE IS A 24 HOUR SERVICE PROVIDER.

GAVE A LOT OF GOOD INFORMATION, INSTALLED WHILE I WAS NOT HOME. WHEN HE GAVE THE ESTIMATE AFTER THE COMPLETION, HE SAID JUST SEND IN THE CHECK AND IT WAS THE SAME PRICE AS THE QUOTE. VERY GOOD CLEAN UP AND HAULED AWAY OLD DOOR. I HAD AN OLD 300 POUND DOOR AND MY GARAGE STAYS MUCH CLEANER. VERY PROFESSIONAL.
