Marblelife

He came out several times and kept running out of materials. He was here everyday for three weeks. He was supposed to change the grout to a different color and he did not do that. He was supposed to clean the cork and that still stuff on it. There is still grim from his chemicals. He banged up the door in our bathroom. He did not apply the grout evenly. It is just a mess and now we are going to have to have the floor redone. He had to keep leaving. He was a super nice guy, he was just terrible and then he blamed everything that went wrong on his helper.

Called another company GK Custom Polishing - listed in Yellow Pages under Marble and Terrazzo Cleaning and Service.  Jonathan Costa came out promptly.  Reviewed the area - a small front hallway and guest bathroom.  Was surprised when he said he couldn't give me a quote - that it would arrive via email in about 3 days!  Gave him my email address.  Never received quote.  Because he told me it would take 3 days for a quote, I called a friend of mine was is an interior designer who gave me the name of Rick Wick.  He came out within those 3 days - gave me a quote right there (estimate based on per square foot - very easy to figure out with the size of my hallway).  He also was going to replace two marble tiles that were cracked.  The entire fee, with replacement and re-caulking was HALF the price of Marblelife!!!   We set a date - he came out and completed the job.  The floor looks wonderful and there were no problems at all.  So.....the MarbleLife price was too high, GK never got a price to me at all and, due to a friend, I was able to get the floor looking new again.  Will try to get the name of the company he works for and add it to my report!!  Would recommend Rick to anyone doing a floor!
