He gets all referrals by word of mouth. He has usually about 3 months out waiting time. That's how booked up he is. He is wonderful! He takes his time and he is very professional. It's fantastic. I have had so many people remark how beautiful the tile is. We are about ready to start our kitchen and we would have him come back and retile our kitchen.

He does excellent work.

Dave is an extremely talented craftsman who takes great pride in his work.  The first project he completed for us a couple years ago was adding crown molding to the top of our oak kitchen cabinets.  We appreciated all the effort he went through to make sure the wood matched.  By the time he finished it looked like it had always been there.  We were quite impressed.  Needless to say, Dave is very precise and attentive to details.  Recently we wanted to replace some of our flooring and knew just who we wanted for the job.  First Dave had to remove the ceramic tile from our long front hall.  Our neighbor had warned us what a huge mess it would be.  Obviously Dave hadn't done her job.  We are still amazed at how little dust there was throughout our house.  Dave used a special machine which helped contain the dust and I can't tell you how grateful we are.  After removing the tile he installed engineered hardwood in the front hall, the kitchen, and bedroom hallway.  He did a terrific job and we are extremely pleased with the results.  In addition we had him install a subway tile backsplash in our kitchen and tile our guest bathroom floor.  It was quite a project and we can't say enough about the quality of his workmanship.  Often we left during the day and found him to be very trustworthy.  In addition Dave is very personable, has a great sense of humor and was meticulous about cleaning up each day.  Without a doubt he deserves an A+.

I originally hired Paceline for a tile project. When I met Paceline I was in the process of installing a wood floor on the first level of my home, using a different contractor. After removing the carpeting we discovered my dining room did not have a wood subfloor but instead a poured gypsum floor. This is a show stopper for a wood floor project. The "old world" flooring installer wanted no part in trying to solve this problem. "You must fix this" he told me. As my frustration grew I remembered Paceline installs wood floors and I asked Dave Kostansek stop by the house to see if he might have any thoughts regarding a solution to this problem. Dave did some research, made phone calls, contacted suppliers and found the products which would allow wood to be laid over the gypsum. By being proactive and taking the bull by the horns, I told Dave he won the whole flooring project and fired the "old world" guy.  I quickly learned Dave is one of the most competent and detailed craftsmen I've ever hired. Dave is a meticulous, methodical, detailed artist. He crafted pieces to blend the new floor to the old, he cleaned up every day, he was thoughtful and detailed about the project, even a smaller project such as mine.
Once the wood floor was completed we started the tile project. The scope was two bathroom floors and the entryway to my home. Again Dave did an outstanding job adding his own creative touches with great attention to detail. He knows his products, tools and techniques and brings great experience and maturity to the job at hand.

He made suggestions on modification of  the cabinetry that enhanced the end result.  He ended up creating a new mantle that coordinated with the trim on the rest of the cabinet.

Dave was a perfectionist about his work and worked closely with us to make sure the design was what we wanted. He was prompt and considerate and left the room cleaner than when he started. The resulting hearth is impressive and unique.

They were very meticulous and straight forward with their estimate and planning.

Dave is an outstanding craftsman. The quality of work he delivers and level of professionalism is a rare find these days. Dave provided ideas and suggestions for a number of things that I was not sure as to how to best handle. He is gave me pointers on a tile floor that I was going to install prior to him installing the bamboo flooring. He ran into a number of challenges when installing the bamboo flooring due to the hardness of the wood. As a result it took him longer to complete the job than he estimated. I was impressed when he told me that the additional time was his responsibility and he planned to honor the quote he gave me. I would have expected with most installers either to have been told that the price was going to be higher or have them cut corners to complete the job in the time they alotted. Dave did neither. I have already recommended Dave to others who are considering having flooring installed. I will use him again when I have the need for someone with his skills.

Dave is an expert in craftsmanship. This is obvious by his attention to details, and fine quality of work. I have had Dave install laminate Armstrong flooring, and a tile surround in the past. Though this particular job was small, he displayed the same diligence as with the others. I will continue to use him again in the future, and wish more contractors were like him.

I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT DAVE. THE NAME OF HIS COMPANY IS MISLEADING AS IT DOES NOT INDICATE HIS TILE WORK. SEVERAL PEOPLE I WORK WITH HAVE USED PACELINE FOR TILE WORK AND HAVE BEEN EXTREMELY HAPPY AS WELL. DAVE WAS RIGHT ON TIME FOR THE ESTIMATE AND DOING THE WORK. HE IS A PERFECTIONIST IN HIS WORK, HAS AN EXCELLENT WORK ETHIC, AND CLEANS UP THE WORK AREA WELL. I WILL DEFINITELY USE AGAIN. HIS PRICES ARE VERY REASONABLE.

MR. KOSTANSEK WAS ABLE TO PERFORM THIS WORK IN A PLEASANT, NON-INTRUSIVE MANNER. HIS WORK WAS EXTREMELY PRECISE AND PROFESSIONAL AND A DEFINITE IMPROVEMENT OVER THE ORIGINAL INSTALLATION. HE LEFT THE AREA CLEAN AT THE END OF EACH DAY'S WORK. WE PLAN TO HIRE HIM TO DO FURTHER CUSTOMIZED WOODWORKING LATER.
