Donna Marchese handled our house sale, starting with a visit a year before we were ready to sell to give advice for preparing the house plus a preliminary market analysis. When we were finally ready, she gave us a new analysis, assuring us our house would sell for more than we had dared to ask. She was right -- we got a full-price offer (less closing costs) in two days.
The photographs in the Internet listing provide a very important first impression to potential buyers. Many agents do poorly here but Donna's photos presented our house very favorably.
Donna frequently called to give progress on getting the appraisal & buyer's mortgage approval, which took seven weeks. (Only negative is the mortgage & escrow agents were not nearly as responsive as she was.)
After the sale, Donna picked us up to take us out to dinner. (She would normally give a restaurant gift certificate but we had sold our car and were moving the next day.)
We have also sought her advice for buying a home in another state. This way we got a second opinion from an expert who has no financial interest in our house purchase.
Donna previously handled our mom's house sale and the house sale for our "honorary mom". We feel she is on our side.
