CONTEMPORARY BUILDING INNOVATIONS

They used the wrong color paint than we planned. They painted the doors with flat paint instead of semi-gloss, and they used dark brown wood putty to fill the nail holes on the floor molding. It looks like it has the measles. One of the doors fell off, and they did come out and fix it, but the floor molding is going to have to be redone. I have tried to contact Paul Liwosz, his foreman, and Brett (one of the workers) via phone and email but have had no response from anyone throughout the past year. I have tried to get this corrected through numerous attempts to contact them, and the results are NO RESPONSE on any attempt. We are out the money for this. All I want them to do is to fix the problems.

Paul will charm you with his personality, strong business sense, extensive knowledge, and customer service. He will start on time. Work will progress. However, when there is an issue to be resolved or something to be finalized, Paul drops the ball. The repair to my ceiling recracked three weeks after they fixed it. He wanted to wait until after winter to redo it to see how it reacted to temp changes. After winter the sidewalk by my porch also cracked. I tried to schedule both repairs, and for a long time EACH DAY I e-mailed him, left a message on his business phone, AND called his cell phone (which curiously does not take messages) to no avail. I elected to NOT have him repair the ceiling b/c I did not want him in my house again. See note above about the sidewalk. My house is BEAUTIFUL, but I will not use him again, and I'm going to have the house inspected to ensure all he did is OK.

Went all right, not great. Stated in contract that project was to be done in 30 days from signing contract and it wasn't done for a good 2 months. Also, when we were deciding on whether or not to use this company, the President, Paul Liwosz, would return all of our calls the same day. However, once we signed on the dotted line and had a question about the installation date, he would never return our calls - it was very frustrating to see him treat us so differently once he received our deposit. The project was satisfactory- had an issue with the sink leaking at first and a few other minor details that needed to be fixed. I really felt like we mattered more to him before he got the sale and not after. He never even came to see how the project turned out.
