Me and neighbor have a mound behind our house and do not cut grass, weeds etc to the top of our property.

They did a nice design for me. I told him I wanted something low maintenance. I'm not sure if I would use them again as some of my bushes have died and I just got back to them but have not heard back from them as of yet. I do have a one year guarantee.

Major backyard project went really well.  We covered a creek so that we could have more back yard space.  This took about 4 months to complete.  We are very pleased with the final outcome and would hire them again if we ever had a major project to do on our landscaping.

Everything got done kind of late so I didn't know how it would turn out. My house is right on the corner of a busy intersection so I felt that I owed it to my neighbors to make my yard look nice. I was very happy with it and so are my neighbors. People who would stop at the light would tell me how nice my yard looked!  I am very happy with it. The price seemed reasonable for all the work they did and the plants they put in. They came when it was all over to make sure I was happy with it. They were very professional and they worked quickly.

They did a really nice job with my landscaping needs.

Initially contracted in March for quote to provide spring clean up and add additional landscaping to back yard.  Was very professional and responded quickly with a quote.  Once the quote was signed, I was told it would be 3 weeks before the work could be started due to the large amount of rain that spring. I understood, and patiently waited.  This project dragged on so long it didn't get completed until August. I had to repeatedly call and email to get an update on scheduling. Many times my calls would go un-answered.  Parts of the project would be done, then weeks would go by before we would see anyone again.  For the most part we were satisfied with the final project after it was finally completed, but it too way too long and the communication during the process was terrible. 

They came up with a plan that I really liked. They were very responsive to discussing things and making modifications in the plan when things did not look exactly the way that they had them on the plan. They were very pleasant to work with. There were things that caused a delay but it wasn't their fault as there was a lot of rain.

My experience with them was positive. The workers were cordial and business-like. They did the work they were supposed to and cleaned up after themselves. They replaced the sprinkler heads at no extra charge. I don’t know how their price is, but I think it is good. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if I need to get some more work done.

This landscaping company  is contracted to cut the lawn for the shopping center behind my home and numerous other homes.  This past May the crew responsible to cut the grass decided to put a heavy riding mower on a 30 degree hill after 8 straight days of rain to cut the grass.  Why you would do this is beyond me but they did.  Well the operator started to slide down the hill immediately and cause deep ruts behind my flower island.  He then drove over the edge of my flower island breaking off several branches off my 16 foot tall pine tree, ruining the edging and then getting stuck next to my fence.  He then proceeded to bury himself into my lawn by trying to drive his way out.  When that didn't work the crew decided to dig him out and then drive across the front of my property.  They were even kind enough to leave the wooden planks they used to dig out laying in the mud pile they created.  I was not home but this was observed by neighbor, and my 12 year old daughter coming home from school.  At no time did they leave a note on my door, notify their supervisor, or the property management company.  I obtained the number to the mangement company and they contacted the landscaping company who contacted me.  They assured me that they would restore my property to the pristine condition it was before they damaged it. 

We have very different ideas of repair.   All they did was throw down some seed and lay some hay on top of that.  That is their idea of a repair. Dirt needs to be put down and needs to be graded properly.  All I would have now is dry dirt and a flood area when it rains.  I have contacted the landscaping company and was assured by the site supervisor he would take care of it and correct everything.  Well absolutely nothing has happened and I have no grass, the property has not been graded properly, and have received absolutely no follow up from them.  I have contacted the management company and basically they have the attitude of oh well too bad.  I would never even consider hiring this company considering how they have responded and treated me after causing a significant amount of damage to my property.  Please see my pictures to see the damage they caused.  Absolutely shameful!!

Prompt, hard working, explained the work, tidy and easy to deal with.

I had a very negative experience with Schill Landscaping. There were weeks where they would not show up at all and I would have to call. They brought heavy equipment into my yard and it damaged my yard. I had to get another company to come in and fix what they damaged. They then came a second time with the equipment and damaged the yard again and I had to call them to tell them to stop bringing that equipment. I had them repair my sprinkler system 7 or 8 times and it still does not work. This is one of the worst experiences I have had with a company. There is a lack of customer service and poor performance by their employees.

Project was headed up by Jim Schill....completed in allotted time. Any necessary repairs/corrections were made. Follow-up done personally by Jim. We are very satisfied with the results.

We are very happy with their service and workmanship. They've been very responsive. We deal directly with the owner. He is very accessible by email - he responds promptly. They are scheduled to come next month and do end of the season cleanup. We have referred them to other people, and they have done work for our son and daughter-in-law also. They have done a good job, and I would rate them highly.

They do a very good job, and they clean up after themselves. Over a period of time, they haven’t been doing what they were contracted to do. They have been doing it only recently.

Nice job. I am really happy with it, no issues.

In planning this huge project we never originally considered a natural terrace, we had been thinking of a powered concrete retaining wall. Jim Schill had the irrigation to support a rock terrace concept and the company had the experience and expert workman (a team of 3) to execute it. Although the ground cover is sparse at the moment, we think it will mature and look great. This was a huge project and we think the Schill company did a very fine job.

I called and had the boss come and give an estimate and he charged me $300 for plans. I had a $1500 ceiling for charges. I had the plants already. We needed 6 evergreens replanted. He charged $300 for the plan he said that they needed to make their own. He showed us $15,000 worth of work. No notes on planting or size of plants. He went over this in front of other people. He said that this was going to make our house looked really nice. He told me, "Don't worry, we won't screw ya!" Now I am out $300 for the plan.

They are awesome, beautiful and exceptional work. They go above and beyond.

WE WANTED THE JOB DONE FOR A WEDDING AT THE HOUSE. THEY CAME IN AND GOT THE ENTIRE YARD DONE IN 3 DAYS IN TIME FOR THE WEDDING. THE YARD WAS BEAUTIFUL AND EVERYONE ALWAYS COMMENTS ON THE WORK. WE ARE HIRING THEM AGAIN FOR FUTURE JOB.

THE SECRET ABOUT THIS CONTRACTOR IS NOT TO USE HIM. PLAN ON HIRING HIM AND AN ATTORNEY AT THE SAME TIME. HE HAS NO CONCEPT OF HIS OBLIGATIONS TO A WRITTEN CONTRACT, AND HAS CHARGED OUR CREDIT CARD WITHOUT OUR KNOWLEDGE. HIS INTERACTION WITH US HAS BEEN ARROGANT, AND OUTRAGEOUS. THIS KIND OF WORK CAN BE INVOLVED AND EXPENSIVE. BE SURE THAT YOU WILL BE IN NO-MAN''S LAND IN YOUR RELATIONS WITH THIS CONTRACTOR, AND THAT EVEN WITH SIGNED CONTRACTS YOU MAY BE, OR IN OUR CASE WILL BE CHARGED FOR SERVICES WITH OR WITHOUT YOUR KNOWLEDGE OR APPROVAL. MR. SCHILL DETERMINES HIS BILL MONTHS AFTER THE WORK IS COMPLETED, AND BILLS YOUR CREDIT CARD TO MAKE HIS PROFITS WHEREVER HE THINKS THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN MONTHS BEFORE. STEER VERY VERY CLEAR OF THIS CONTRACTOR.
