OSBUN ELECTRIC SVC

Called Osbun Service on 6/21 and he returned my call within 1 hour.  Scheduled to come to home the next day to repair service line broken brackets due storm earlier in the week.  The broken brackets were on my 93 year old mother house.  So before he came out I asked how much would it cost and he said $89.00 dollars. Which I felt was high just for replacing 2 brackets. But Mom needed the job done, so I said ok.  He came and replaced the brackets.  He makes out the bill for $139.95.  I said that not what he told me over the phone. He said that the price he give me over the phone was just for the service call.  He added a labor charge of $50.00 dollars and he said he does this on all his jobs.  Well why didn't he say this on the phone when I asked about the cost?  If I knew that it was going to be $89 plus another charge for labor,  I would not have him do the job.  ( net results for 2 brackets  $140 / 2 = $70 each, what a rip off)  I would not hire him again.
