Excellent job. The most reasonable rates I found. I called John and he was out to my house by that afternoon. He gave me a quote and then we arrange for a time and date. The guys that came were extremely fast. They had my old driveway out in the new one in in record time. Beautiful workmanship. I am very pleased with this company! Would highly recommend them to anyone who needs work done.

John and his crew were great from start to finish. I contacted John earlier in the year for a quote and he was able to come to my house the next day and provide a quote on the spot. The weather has been very tricky this summer, making it difficult to find a window to pour concrete, but John kept me informed throughout the whole process. He answered his phone every single time I called which is unheard of in my experience working with other home improvement companies. John and his crew have great pride in what they do, and it really shows in the final product. We are so happy we got this work done and love how the new driveway adds to our curb appeal.

J&b was great to work with from beginning to end. Called back 10 minutes after I left a message to set up a quote. During the quote visit the owner explained the whole process and was honest that he had a couple of jobs before he would be able to get to my drive. Next day agreed to have him preform the work. Called a week later after a lot of rain to let me know he and his crew would be out Monday to excavate the area and pour Tuesday morning. All went to the plan as he promised. John and his crew were very professional the 2 days they were on the property. Area was clean and tidy after both days. The extension came out wonderful! Couldn't be happier with the work and the professionalism of John and his crew. I would highly recommend J&b for all your concrete needs!

I've been using J&B Concrete for the last couple years. Each time I've had an excellent experience, they are very fast to meet my needs and their work is second to none. This year I needed a couple sidewalks and a driveway apron replaced. They did the work fast and neat, they took the extra steps to ensure I was happy with the finish product. ( Including repairing some asphalt at no charge.) I will continue to use J & B for all my concrete work, with excellent work and a polite staff you can't go wrong. 5 STARS!

The work was done in a professional manner, the crew was well mannered and polite. They cleaned up when they were done and didn't leave a mess. I would hire them again, the price I thought was good, they even found a company to cut my curb down because when I backed out of my drive I was scraping the airdamn on my Accent. If it gets dammaged it runs $450 to replace w/paint etc. I would reccomend them to anyone who needs work done in a timely professional manner John came out to quote the job on 5-29-15 and everything was finished today.

The work was done very well, the patio looks really great and the guy who put the hand swirl patterns into the concrete did an outstanding job. All of the concrete work is very professionally done and finished. We could not be more pleased with the end result.
The job went much better and faster than I had anticipated. Upon seeing John for the first time it is easy to get a wrong impression, but I've learned that he is either coming from a job or on a quick break from that he is working. In either case, he looks like he has been working with the job. Before I bid the work out I had made a list of the work that I wanted done so that each bidder was bidding the same work content. Not only did J&B come in with the best price but also had added a few refinements to work that made that much better at no extra cost.
When J&B did finally start the work it went very smoothly and quickly. There was no sitting around by the workers or taking their time in getting things done. The nature of the work is "construction" job site like so expect that there will be clean up to be done after the work is complete. J&B employees are friendly and careful, but if the boss is not there at end of the job and it is the end of the week they tend to leave in a hurry. To the owners credit, he did some clean up after his employees had left the job.

Everything went well, John came over and gave estimate a few days after we called -dealt mostly with my husband. He was friendly , understood what we wanted done. Gave us a price that day and set up date for the job to be completed. Had to r/s once due to weather but called and let us know when his crew would be coming. 1 days work-no problems-looks great.

JB had trouble due to wet drveway soil delaying completion. Act of nature not their fault. However , Jonn of JB told us he would replace the walkway bricks to a proper lavel to meet the new driveway. He denied offering this but both my wife and I remember him clearly offering this. We have had to contract with another party to do this work costing us several hundred dollars.Additionally when they completyed the job ( final cutting they did nothing to do a final rinsing or cleaning to the driveway surface. Leaving that for us to do. It left a very messy look to the finished product.

"Per the conversation I had with the members, I explained that we would have to remove some of the brick walkway to put forms in for the driveway. I explained thoroughly to the both of them that I was not a landscaper, so it would be best to have his put them back in when the job was completed. They both claimed to understand and that it wouldn't be a problem. The claim of anything other than what I've stated is false or simply a misunderstanding. As for the claim the drive was not cleaned after being cut, this is not true either. It was cleaned with the hose present at the member's household. We cleaned as much as we could due to how far it reached. At most, the bottom of the driveway/apron may have had some dust left on it, but in no way would that make the job look as bad as it sounds in this review. If in fact that was the case, why would the member express how much she was pleased with the job/work we did to me after everything was completed. We did all that we could to give this customer a nice job, which I strongly believe we did. In fact, this is the first I've even heard of any dissatisfaction the member had. As the rating he gave states that my responsiveness was an "A", why not call me and express any concerns he had prior to writing of any problems? I feel the negative rating for professionalism is not an accurate rating for what the member received versus what he is claiming!"

The owner came to the house personally to give an estimate. While he was there he suggested a better way to install the rail going into the pool. As none of the work was urgent we agreed that when he had an opening we could make that date work. That was on May 12th. As Northern Ohio has been under flood warnings for what seems like months we were not sure when J&B could get at it. On the eveing of the 18th J&B called and ask it he could start in the morning. He and his crew showed up on time and in less than three hours had our projects ready "to pour". Once again with the threat of rain we delayed that till the next day. J&B showed up on time and finished the job. They were neat and cleaned up very well. One could not ask for a better experience.

I have a bi-level house and my driveway was sinking and cracking to the point where there were golf ball size holes in my driveway. During heavy rain water would build up to a foot or two in front of the garage door because there was only a 4" drain. The drain would get covered by a leaf and the water would back up. I had water coming into my garage during even a modest rain. The driveway connecting to the garage dropped about 4 inches causing that portion of the driveway to crumble. J&B concrete construction came out and knew right a way what the problem was before they even tore up the driveway. I was told that the drain tile collapsed and water was destroying all the concrete. They were cautious and professional. The owner provided an estimate and was very honest about what needed to be done. The owner even followed up and was more then happy to stop back and answer all my questions. They were prompt and did everything that was stated and even went above and beyond to offer guidance on work I could do to cut some costs. The owner and the crew are proud of their work and it showed in multiple follow ups since the concrete has been laid. At one point I needed plumbing work done to jet out my lines due to blockage and they provided a contact that came out the next day at over half the cost I was going to pay someone else. I will absolutely use this company again.
