We signed a contract with him in January.  Our experience with him was excellent.  We have been very lucky with this whole move.  Cleveland housing market is pretty awful.  He was great to work with from the word get go.  He is very matter of fact.  He lays it all out there for you.  We both were on the same page with the house now being a commodity and we would do what needed to be done to sell it.  Luckily we had already done a lot of things and it was in really good shape to start.  What impressed me more about him beyond the actual just marketing the house was that he stepped in on several instances that went above and beyond what you would expect your real estate agent to do.  Since we are living in another state, he would stop by and check on the house.  My son is still living there, not in the house but still living in the area so he would check, but our agent would stop by and check as well.  We had a branch of a tree come down in a storm and he got up on the roof with his chainsaw and cut it up into pieces and removed it.  There were several house things like that which came up, rather than us having to run back to take care of it he just went over and took care of whatever it was.  It was truly full service.  He is a great guy to work with.  We are 2 hours away and we go back and forth a lot.  When my son called and said that there was a storm and there was a great big branch lying on the garage roof, I called our agent and told him we would get there over the weekend and take care of it.  He just told me that he would be over there in the morning with a chainsaw.  There were a couple of things like that and he just jumped right in and took care of some things for us.  I was very impressed.  The house was in Lakewood, Ohio which is a Cleveland suburb.  We are still waiting to close.  We are not completely done.  It is sold but not closed.  We are not actively doing anything except waiting on the buyers.  We haven't spent anything yet because it depends on the closing.  The agent will get his commission once the house closes.  It is a very standard commission.  I would recommend him to anybody, but we will probably not continue to use him in the future.
