They did a very nice and professional job. They thoroughly cleaned up after themselves. I liked how they put a garbage can upside down over my mini rosebush so it wouldn't get hurt.

Bill arrived on time and go the work done in about 2-1/2 hours, including the removal of all material and the raking of the lawn. Bill loves trees and it shows.

Bill Varga, courteous, professional, and dedicated, took down some dying
holly tress, pruned and cared for a bay leaf magnolia, and send his man
the very next day to cable a dangerously hanging branch of a silver
maple.  He subcontracted to remove the stumps of the holly trees, but
the removal was too shallow to allow for a replacement tree, which had
to be sited at another point.  Bill said he would make sure the dogwood
that I had planted there was properly planted and that he would
fertilize it.

It went very well. Very clean and cleaned up very well. I have a small yard with 3 pine trees and a couple of peach trees in the front yard. Plus some trees behind the garage. I was amazed! They haul everything out too.

They did an excellent job in all they did. Finished everything in one day and cleaned-up afterwards. Trees look great! I would highly recommend the Tree Company for any tree or shrub work.

Bill Varga is a man of integrity. I received more value than is reflected in the amount that I paid for his work. He showed up on time and worked methodically and efficiently, The clean up afterwards was thorough. I will definitely be using his services again.

Arrived at the appointed time for the initial estimate and walked the yard while I described the trees I wanted treated. He made numerous recommendations and pointed out issues I was unaware we had. He developed a comprehensive plan for treating the trees. He returned promptly on the day work was scheduled and spent the entire day and part of the next. They completely cleaned up after themselves and had the yard and trees looking great.

The Tree Co. trimmed and thinned the trees I requested. They answered all my questions regarding the process.  They were thorough. My trees look very good. Their cleanup was excellent. I would definitely hire them again. Good Job!rborist

I live in CA and had to arrange this by phone. I called several companies and the Tree Co. seemed the most professional and offered a good price, though others on Angie's list were good too. The Tree Co. did take a while to call me back at one point, but overall the e-mail and phone transactions went smoothly.  They did the work must sooner than they estimated they could get to it (one other company that sounded good had a two month wait).  They also offered advice on care for large oak on the property.  It is hard for me to comment on the Bradford pear trimming, since I have only seen pictures of the work e-mailed by the tenant, and the real proof will be how the trees look a year from now. Overall, I'm very satisfied with how everything went.

I noticed a couple of dead branches and called Bill Varga, he came out and gave an estimate and perfomed the work. It was a huge job, they removed dead branches, also did a root treatment to keep the tree healthy. Very pleasant to work with, excellent clean-up.

This is the third time I have called Bill Varga.  He is a certified arborist and I wanted information on the health of an old oak tree and what the effect of adding more concrete would be on the tree ( Bigger garage and stamped concrete patio). I called and he came over the next evening and gave me a quote and his opinion.  He also suggested removing weight from the pear tree so it wouldn't split with time.  He and Ed came within a couple of days and worked on the front.  The back was completed the next day.  They are extremely professional and responsive. All the cutting was removed and the yard was cleaner after than before.  I'm definitely satisfied with their work.

The work was performed quickly (and safely).
Every last branch and twig was cleaned up before they left, and the price seemed very reasonble.
I told him I would like him to come back next year for another trimming job.

Bill Varga was exceptionally responsive to my call for an estimate. He stopped by the same day. He was able to spray the locust tree very soon afterwards to stop further damage, and returned later to prune and limb up the three trees.

Bill and his assistant were very careful to minimize damage to shrubs and delicate impatiens that are planted beneath the locust tree. I arrived after most of the work was done and pointed out a handful of small items to spruce up on the locust, birch and apple trees. Not only did he take care of those immediately, he cleaned out a dead branch or two from a nearby dogwood at no additional charge.

One of the things I liked best is Bill was not in a hurry to spend my money on excessive work. He has a lot of experience and a good eye for shaping and thinning a tree. He knows when to stop so that a mature tree doesn't look lopsided, too sparse, or like a stalk of broccoli! Talk with Bill about what you'd like to do, and listen to what he thinks is best. I think you'll be pleased with the results.

I called Bill (based on a few I pulled up from Angie's List) on a Thursday to provide a quote to remove the root system from a tree we had removed 2 years ago. Bill visited the site on the same Thursday, called me while he was at my house, provided the quote and committed to coming out on Friday to perform the work. After I agreed to the price - he came out on Thursday evening to re-confirm and re-quote the job (I had exposed additional roots) to ensure all was satisfactory. Bill came out Friday and removed the existing root system - even though it was raining. According to my neighbor he spent a good 3-4 hours removing the system - which was quite a job. He then called me on Friday evening to ensure the job was performed to satisifcation - which it was. He is very conscientious and definately worth using his company's services again in the future.

He is very reliable and very knowledgeable. The quality of his work was good. His price was reasonable.

It was a lot of work and he was more than fair with his pricing. I especially appreciated the clean up they did, they raked up the debris and it was like they were never even there.

I had called a couple times before I got a return call, but I think that was timing because of a storm. They felt warmer after I had met with them a couple times. His price was reasonable.

They took a couple days to call me back but when he did I gave him my address and he called back a couple hours later with an estimate. We agreed to the price over the phone and that same day he removed both the tree and bush, and came back the next day and removed both stumps.

Well. Bill was a little slow responding to my first call (2-3 days) but got out soon after to estimate. Did the job a few days later. In the course of it he found more that needed removing and gave me a price to stay the rest of the day and do it all in one trip. I agreed. It was all more expensive than I had hoped but was worth the cost.

He had quite a process which he placed tubes around the base of tree into the ground and pumped a liquid into the tubes. The work was done in the fall of 2006 so I was unable to give a report until I saw progress. I did not see much difference in the Spring or Fall, but this Spring it looks beautitul. He has really grown like crazy. The other tress also look good. He was also polite and allowed me watch his work.
