The team came on time and appeared to do a decent job. They convinced me that a UV air cleansing system would be a great benefit and so I purchased at $500. The technician (Nate) told me that replacement bulbs were available from local hardware stores for around $50 and that he would go over the warranty information. He neglected to go over the warranty details which was necessary to validate. On checking with local hardware stores I couldn't find the right UV bulb and those that are available are much more than $50. So Nate was an outright liar and I will never use Stanley Steemer again, having been a customer for 10 years. They are just con men.

It seemed to be okay at first; however, I was not at all impressed with the "lead" man. I had a list of coupon codes from the company but they would not go through on their website. He told me he was unfamiliar with them but could give me $35 off my bill. He had me sign for the job and handed me my receipt as he was walking out the door. Upon further inspection of the bill I noticed he took $35 off but also charged me $35 for an extra room. So, no discount at all. Then, the very next day one of the bedrooms began to smell absolutely horrific. So bad in fact we ended up having to have all the carpet pulled up and replaced. They also kept trying to sell me on their air duct service as well as their yearly carpet cleaning service, multiple times during the visit. I just was not impressed this time. I have always been highly satisfied with their services but this one ruined the whole impression.

They did a great job! They didn't rush and gave great advice. Their pricing was flexible.

The cleaning was fine but they didn't do anything to let the carpets in the basement dry.  This resulted in mold in the basement carpet.  We caught this in time and called them.  They were not ready to re-clean the basement carpet.  Instead the technician who came out to inspect the mold insisted on using a humidity meter to show us that the humidity in the basement was higher than all the upstairs rooms and essentially told us the problem was ours.  I think every homeowner knows that basements have higher humidity.  We got the basement re-cleaned by another company (and of course had to pay for it ourselves).  This company installed two giant fans in the basement for a few hours after the work was done and haven't had an issue in two years.  Needless to say we thought Stanley Steemer's customer service was terrible.

The Manager Patrick and Lead tech Nick at this office were great.  We were very concerned about the water.  They arrived within 30 minutes of our call, had equipment to evaluate floor and wall water issues, and quickly gave us our options to address the issue.  Very knowledgeable and friendly.  We are so thankful and relieved they took care of the water.
