LESLIE'S SWIMMING POOL SUPPLIES

I called Leslie's as they had sold the previous owner of my home the pool pump and valves leading in to the pump. I needed a new handle to a ball valve leading into my pump....I described the plastic handle piece I needed as I had looked it up on the internet, but would prefer to buy it that day and locally. The girl who answered the phone was very "unknowledgeable" and told me I would have to buy a whole new ball valve and replace it on the water pipe leading into my pump. I told her I found just the handle on the internet for $3.50 and was not about to replace the entire valve and part of my of my pipe for a plastic handle. She then said, oh, well we don't carry that part. This person was unqualified to be selling pool products.
