Lake Erie Moving

John and his associate did a fantastic job in moving me from an apartment in Fairview Park to a high rise apartment in Lakewood. They had to deal with a slow elevator at the new building but were very organized and finished the job in 3 hours. Pleasant surprise.

Arrived 1 -1/4 hour late, caller to say delayed. Two men showed, contracted three. Quoted three hours, almost 5 hours because only two men. Did not have moving supplies, only a few blankets. No straps, dollies, bungees.... Their one hour lunch was figured into charges. Therefore, paid for six hours when I was told three hours. Fees were excessive, quoted $110/ hour for three men, charged $100/hour for two men. Makes no sense. Unable to complete move because needed extra man for two items, promised to return. It's been two weeks, texts and phone calls are not returned. I tipped them $100, believing they would come back to finish job. Furniture was damaged, light fixture broken and didn't have necessary tools to remove tabletop from base. Complained that furniture was heavy. Well, that's why I hired movers! Sadly, I have to hire another mover to complete job that I overpaid for because I was too trusting. BEWARE

It got done but the gentleman complained about everything. He was in a hurry and did not have the correct moving equipment (making it difficult on themselves and risking furniture and walls). They were rough with the furniture and did not take the time to calculate for turns in hall way , doors, lights and just roughly forged ahead to get job done quickly. They get paid minimum three hours and faster they work better for them even at expense of customers home and belongings. Also, at the end he asked for cash only, which was never mentioned previously!

This is the 3rd time we've used Lake Erie Moving and they have been great each time. Very professional, efficient, considerate. The move went smoothly and without incident. Nothing was damaged. These guys know what they're doing. They were so kind to work with us in getting out of our former home. They came out again after a month to move the residual items in the garage and shed that we didn't have time to pack. This really helped us and made our moving experience less stressful. And they were so pleasant when bringing our items to the new house. So willing to move furniture around to where we wanted it.

This was my second time using Lake Erie Moving. They are great to work with, very professional and efficient. I would use them again in a minute.

They were reliable. Everything was done well. I don't have any complains. I would use them in the future.

It went very well. We were very pleased. Done quickly, efficiently, with no damage on any piece. They were very pleasant and helpful. Price was a little less than the original estimate.
