It went great! There were 3 ladies scheduled at different times of the day to administer medication, take our kids out for potty, feed, play, etc. All 3 ladies would text when they were there or leaving with updates and/or any comments or concerns. We were hesitant at first leaving our dogs, especially due to our one dog with the heart issue but after meeting with the ladies we felt confident that all would go well...and it did! We would definitely hire this team again. The company is a little on the high priced side for a scheduled holiday, but then you get what you pay for. And we felt comfortable and confident that our pets were in good and competent hands. We came home to a home that looked just as we had left it. ? Thank you Family Pet Sitters!

We had Family Pet Sitters watch our two dogs over a long weekend with 2 visits per day. We came home to our smallest dog Nikki with her butt full of poop with fecal burns and bleeding once we shaved off the large clump of poop completely covering her butt. We ended up with $140 in vet bills and 3 medications for the next 2 weeks. I talked with Gail the owner who took no responsibility for the situation and made excuses as to why or how this could have happened. She said someone held our dog on Monday before we came home and didn't notice anything wrong. Fecal burns do not happen within 6 hours. It would have taken DAYS for this to happen. I'm completely appalled that this happened. This situation could have been avoided completely. Gail didn't offer even cover part the vet bills. We were gone for 2 weeks in the summer and had someone else watch our dogs and they were perfectly fine so do not blame the situation on the dog. We trusted you to take care of our dogs and ended up with a sick dog! Don't waste your money with Family Pet Sitters. Take your dogs somewhere where they will be properly taken care of!

The petsitter from Family Petsitters did an excellent job of caring for our two cats as well our home. She sent text pictures of our cats at each visit. She also wrote notes from each visit which were very enjoyable to read. Our petsitter also picked up the newspaper and brought in the mail as well as taking out the trash for us on our trash collection day. She opened the blinds each morning and closed up at night. These services gave us peace of mind while we were away.

Gail and her staff are wonderful. We can leave our cat at home without worrying about her. They also brought in our trashcans and got our mail. Their daily rate was well below what we were expecting to pay, and their service is excellent. We would highly recommend Family Pet Sitters!

They're great. They keep a log of what happens every time they stop by. They make notes on the time, how the dog is behaving, and how the feeding went. They take our dog for a walk, come by three times a day.

We've been calling Family Pet Sitters for years now. No matter if we're gone a few days, even a week recently, over one day, they are in good hands. The staff leave us notes every day about what and quot;The Boysand quot; did while there. Staff plays with them, brushes them, just and quot;hangsand quot; with them. The litter boxes are always clean, but most importantly, The Boys are no longer irritated with us when we come home after being away.

She arrived on time and answered all of my questions. She brought all the paperwork needed to proceed with the job. Weather cancelled our plans but we will use them for future travel.

Awesome!,, Family petsitters has been caring for our family for 5 years. They treat our family like its theirs. We recently went on vacation and our senior dog is a finicky eater at best. Barbara brought chicken from home to feed to her. They pay attention to the details to make vacations go as smoothly as possible. Gail has been amazing at making sure our pup is well cared for. Checking in to see if we need midday visits and helping us during family emergencies.

From the beginning Gail has been helpful, flexible, friendly. She came to meet Marshmallow before the walks began and made us feel very comfortable. The walker leaves us a note everyday describing Marshmallow's activities. He is so much calmer and better-natured than before I used them.

We couldn't be happier with Family Pet Sitters. We were leaving for 6 days, over Christmas, and needed a service to take care of our 2 Pugs. We called them about 6 weeks before our scheduled trip, and spoke to Gail, the owner. I explained that both of our dogs require eye medication daily, one of them has a special diet due to allergies, and both of them are rescues with some degree of separation anxiety. This was all fine. She explained about her services. She would come three times a day for approximately 1/2 hour per visit. She'd walk, feed and give them attention and their medication. She'd also turn lights on and off, bring in the mail and newspaper, and water our plants. Then, she said she'd touch base with us a couple of weeks before our departure to arrange a time to come out and meet the dogs. Sure enough, she called us right on time. When she came to our house she took careful notes, spent time with the dogs and familiarized herself with their routines. Next she said she'd call to confirm everything 2 days before our departure. Sure enough, two days before departure, she called. While we were gone, we texted her several times asking how the dogs were doing. Each time she replied immediately. There was a big snow storm while we were gone but she still managed to make it to our house. She even shoveled an area of the back patio so the dogs had a place to poop and pee. She also shoveled a path down the driveway so one of the dogs, who is timid about walking in the snow, would have a path to the sidewalk. We forgot to ask her to take out the trash on garbage day, but she did it anyway! When we got back, the radio was on in the background (great idea which she did on her own) and the dogs were resting comfortably in their crates. She had written lengthy notes about each and every visit - 16 in all. The dogs were in great shape. This is a really top-notch service. In fact we were so pleased with Family Pet Sitters that we sent a little gift along with our payment. We'll never board our dogs again!

We had never used a sitter before and did not know what to expect. since we had invisible fencing, we would have been satisfied to have our dog let out two or three times a day and fed two times a day.Not only were these needs satisfied, but their service far exceeded our expectatation.Our dog was taken to a park and walked daily and engaged in playtime periodically.A daily journal was furnished outlining what the sitter had done on each visit. All of the contact we have had with the owners were friendly and helpful.We are very well satisfied.

They are very attentive to my dog and leave detailed notes. They also accommodate even in the last minute when I ask them.

Family Pet Sitters has been taking care of my dog for almost 2 years, and I use their service quite often (I travel a lot for work). The scheduling is always easy and convenient, even if it's last minute. With previous pet sitters and boarding my dog would be very anxious and stressed, but she is always happy as can be when I use Family Pet Sitters.

Gail has taken care of my 2 dogs several times over the last 2 years. She has provided regular "dog walking" service and "overnights" for us. After each visit she left a note on what the dogs did (business) and if they had any adventures (chasing squirrel, not fond of rain, etc.). You can tell that Gail cares deeply for animals and my dogs loved her! Gail responds quickly and will work to be able to care for your pets. I am disappointed that I moved to the east side and out of her service range. I highly recommend Family Pet Sitters.

I called Gail at the last minute to watch our dog while we were out of town for Thanksgiving. She was very helpful and accomodating about fitting us into her schedule, and she established a good relationship with our (somewhat difficult) dog right away. She and her staff left detailed notes after each visit, and they even performed minor houshold repairs that came up in our absence at no extra charge! Thank you!

We could not be more thrilled with the care that they have provided for our pets (rescue dogs with quirks, and rabbits). They are not the first petsitter we have used, but are by far the best. They understand dogs and owners needs. We have called them with last minute needs, and they have accommodated us. They were even there for us "on standby" when we were expecting our son (we were due the week of christmas) so we wouldn't have to worry about our "fur-babies." Our pets have needed meds, and they have given them the meds perfectly. They understand the different needs (emotional, and health) needs of our pets, and have always been perfect with their kindness and care--even with our critically ill rottie. They are small enough to provide personal service, but big enough to provide continuous coverage. Gail and her staff are the best!!!
