DUNRITE PLUMBING

We didn't here back from the office for several days.  Fortunately, we had already contacted a different plumber.  They came out.  Found the "clean out valve" immediately.  Got rid of the clog and our plumbing is great!!!!  We will NEVER use them again!!!!

First attempt at estimate he was going to cut open the wrong wall.  I requested that the wall be cut open in the basement entryway (where the mess would be less visible), and it took some convincing to get him to go this route (even though it was the right thing to do).
When he showed up he brought an "assistant" to cut open the wall, then proceeded to leave to finish another job.  The assistant did a shoddy job opening the wall that took 45 minutes, then sat in my basement for 3 hours waiting for Rich to return.   Upon returning, he installed a used piece of PVC from another job site.
After finishing I asked him to clean out the drain with a snake since cutting the old cast iron often causes debris to fall into the drain.  This took some convincing, even though once again, it was the right thing to do (as an amateur plumber I know this).
The next day I was in the basement cleaning up the mess he left (made little to no attempt to leave the job site clean), I knocked the lid off the sewer clean out point.   I called Rich to ask him why he didn't tighten it back on and he said it was too rusty.  So instead he left my house exposed to sewer gas and rodents.   I was furious and demanded that he come back and fix it. 
He did return, with a $4 part from Home Depot to seal the opening.   He then proceeded to lie to me about how he meant to call me and tell me about that....yeah right.
Never again.  Stopped payment on his check...something I've never done to a vendor before.    If you care for the health and safety of your family, you won't trust your plumbing to Dunrite.

I have used Rich before and have been very pleased. Rich was punctual and is always extremely pleasant. Rich asked if I wanted to replace the toilet and I replied I'd rather he tried to repair it. He said fine, that would be cheaper. He spent 1.5 hours making the repairs and cleaning up really well.

.Rich was running late, but he called me to let me know and that was fine with me. He removed the old toilet and placed it on the tree lawn for the trash to pick up the next day. He then determined that the flange was rusted and completely worn out, so he installed a new flange. He showed me the flange and I could see in what bad shape it was. After finishing the installation, he carefully cleaned up.
I have had Rich do other plumbing for us and I believe he does very good work and charges fair prices. He is always extremely pleasant.

Overall it was a bad experience I felt very uncomfortable. 

The job was done before I knew it and now, the sink and faucet are both leak free and the toilet flushes as it should.  I highly recommend Rich to anyone in need of a very talented, knowledgeable and HONEST plumber.  He never leaves a mess making sure the area is clean at job completion.  In addtion, he is pleasant to work with and is a kind human being.

He was responsive and reliable. The work was done well, but his estimating practices was way off. When I sign an agreement it was for $750, because he said it was a whole day worth of work and might need a helper. He came by himself and finished in just a couple of hours. He did not reduce the price. I would think somebody doing this work for so long would be able to do a better job at estimating then what he gave me.

He was punctual, fast, and extremely efficient. I've been very happy with my dishwasher, and I'm very happy to have found a great plumber!

I was happy that they were willing to come into the city. They were proficient and professional. I live in an old house and they were familiar with the plumbing. They knew what they were doing. They took care of everything.

I called Richard about noon and he called me back in a few minutes. It was the first time I'd talked to him. He was very professional and said he could actually do the job later that day, if I wanted to call the hardware store and order and pay for the water heater myself. He told me to mention his name since the store knew him well. I did just that and ordered the water heater. Richard arrived at dinner time with the new water heater and installed it and took out the old one in about 2 hours. When he mentioned the leaky wash tub faucet, I asked if he could replace those washers and he did. It was like a gift from heaven to have his pleasant service. He knew what he was doing and did it well.
