"We are sorry you are unhappy with the Klaussner sectional you special ordered in December 2013. The same sofa you had chosen is on display in our showroom, however, the sectional is made with a darker, heavier fabric and a different arm. Most large single cushions tend to have comfort wrinkles and this is normal. Klaussner is our starting price point in upholstered furniture. It is mass produced and is not “custom” made. This sectional is meant to have a casual look. The back cushions are Dacron filled to give you a soft, comfortable feel and they will not look or perform like a tight back cushion. While we have ordered several cushions and casings for you, this sectional is meant to look exactly like it does in your photos. It is no different than the floor sample, though yours may be more noticeable due to the lighter weight and color of the fabric you had chosen. The casual look and comfort of this sectional is what I’m sure appealed to you. We have sold hundreds of this style in sectionals and sofas with different fabrics and have very few issues. I truly am sorry you do not like how it looks. This is normal for this style and is not a manufacturer defect.”"

At first, I thought the furniture I bought was of good quality for the price. My complaint is with the sales person, Mallory. She does not know her inventory. I had two problems. First I bought a platform bed. I asked if I needed a low profile box spring. She assured me I did not. When the mattress and box spring arrived (which I bought at another store) the bed was almost 5 feet tall. This cost me a restocking fee and another delivery fee. When I called her back her only comment was that if I had bought it from Sheely's there would not have been any extra charges.  The second thing was, I bought a leather couch. The cost was approximately $2000. I had told her I only wanted top grain leather. She assured me it was. When I asked why so cheap, She said they had a good deal with the manufacturer because they sold so many. The couch is 2 months old and the leather is peeling. Clearly not top grain. Mallory, and I suspect the rest of their sales staff is poorly trained and does not know the merchandise. Buy only if you know what you are buying. Do not trust the sales people. They will tell you anything to sell furniture

You chose to purchase from another store in which the mattress may vary in size and we cannot predict how it would fit. The sofa you had purchased is top grain leather and while there was an issue with the back of the sofa upon arrival to our store, we notified you prior to delivery and you chose to have it delivered. We ordered a complete back casing and took care of the sofa at no charge to you. Issues with product from the manufacturer cannot be predicted and we want to ensure you are happy with your purchase. We have notified the appropriate management and will be contacting you so that we can address the issue with the leather peeling on your sofa."

Well it did not look any better. When they came out with the new cover, about 6 weeks later, the service man added stuffing to the back cushions. He recovered the long single cushion and it looked the same. A little better, but after it was sat upon a couple of times, the fabric began to pull/twist again. The cushion is clearly too large and the fabric unstable. We asked them to come out one more time and were was told there was nothing they could do, it was made to their specifications.
The sofa looks like it's a few years old. The front of the long single cushion is puckered and the top fabric is creased diagonally.
I am very disappointed in the quality of the product. We spent $1,500 on the sofa and waited months for it to be made because we wanted a quality piece of furniture. I regret that we didn't buy something off the floor of a discount furniture store.
I would be wary of purchasing anything from Sheely's Furniture in the future.

Sheely's includes free delivery and removal of all appliances.  They
hooked everything up for me and all I needed to do was turn them on.  I
have purchased nearly all the furniture I own from them as well.  They
have a great selection.  A wonderful website and a very attentive and
professional sales staff.  I personally feel that they cannot be beat
for quality and variety.

Sheely's Furniture and Appliance is a great place to go for mid range to slightly higher end furniture.  It is a step up from Levin Furniture and a huge improvement over Value City or Ashley Furniture.  Sheely's has an excellent selection of furniture for every room in the house.  We have purchased from them since 1989.  Staff is friendly and helpful, especially Sherry Clark.  They frequently offer same as cash promotions that are helpful too.

I talked with the owner and told her I was having problems with the couch. The dust skirt underneath when it arrived. She told me they have way too much furniture going out of the wharehouse to inspect every piece.

We went to his home for service, three days after delivery, on June 30th to replace the cambric (fabric underneath the sofa) because it had a tear in it that may have happened on delivery. [member name removed] seemed pleased with the service and we have never had any other issues."

We were purchasing furniture for our upcoming living room renovation.  The sales representatives at Sheely's were very professional and didn't try to pressure us or hover around us while we were browsing through the pieces and discussing what we wanted.  Shelly, the sales rep who assisted us, was very helpful.  She would give us price quotes on custom pieces and was honest with us when what we were asking for couldn't be done.  Sheely's has a nice selection of furniture.  The quality isn't top-of-the-line, but for the average consumer the prices are just right.

.We had looked for a long time for a reclining sofa and chair. We finally found a nice Lane set at a local furniture store. The price was higher than we wanted to spend, so when we found that Sheelys could get the same set for $500 less, we were happy. It took several months to find the time to travel 1 1/2 hrs to the store, but we thought it was worth it to save the money. We were wrong. We had issues with both pieces the day they were delivered. We contacted the store immediately to report the issues and they sent someone to look at our concerns. The gentleman who came said "Thats just the way it is"!!!!  We were shocked that he said this after looking at the problems. We immediatley contaced the store with our disappointment of the handling of our concerns. We heard back from the store owner, Mrs. Sherry Sheely. She asked for photos to be sent to her, and she would review them. Great, we thought, because  the problems were clearly visible.
.   We sent the photos and she agreed the rocker/recliner was not right ( arm rest sat 1 inch from the back of the chair), but said the sofa was fine. It was not fine. The material on the seats of the sofa appeared to have been sewn incorrectly in  the back causing excess material to fold over in the front. This was very visible the day it was delivered, before we had ever even sat on it. She explained that the material had to be loose becasue it was  motion furniture. We have owned several motion pieces before (even Lane) that never looked like this. Then she explained that the material was "too heavy" and this may have caused the problem. She offerded a credit and said we could choose another fabric or choose something else .While we appreciated this offer, we simply did not have the time to drive another 3 hrs to start another search for different furniture.. Plus, we liked the furniture and the fabric we already chose. We just wanted it fixed or replaced..                                                                                                                                                                                                                After months of going back and forth, Mrs. Sheely finally offered to replace the chair, but said she would need to charge us $100 to replace the sofa!! We did not feel we should pay more money to correct a problem that was not our fault, especially while under warranty.. We declined the offer on the sofa and just replaced the chair. The chair came and was fine at first. Now, the chair is having the same problem as the first chair. We called the store who informed us they are no longer going to service us, and gave us a toll free# to call. We called  the number, and the woman there explained that Lane has a contract with Sheelys that they have to service the customer if they are under the 1 yr warranty. We have heard nothing from Sheelys, not even when the new chair was delivered. They never bothered to follow up and check to see if everything was ok. They are so nice when they are taking your money, but if a problem arises and you don't accept their resolutions, you are out of luck. We spoke to the Lane represenatives and they advised legal action.  Mrs. Sheely is the owner, and has to answer to no one higher. Now she will have to answer to a judge. We have already talked to an attorney who said the store has to, by law ,honor the warranty and the contract with Lane. This could have all been avoided by doing the right thing from the beginning, but Mrs. Sheely wanted to make an extra $100 off of us. Now this store has lost us (and everyone we told) as customers forever over $100!  Not a wise business move. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

"This customer had delivery of her furniture in May 2012 was not happy with how the fabric wrinkled on the seat of her motion sofa. This is not a factory defect. Most of the motion sofas with fabric have to be loose enough so the seats can move when you open and close the reclining ends. Her chair however did have an issue with the one arm on the chair that was not flush to the seat back. She had the option of our service department ordering a replacement arm from Lane and installing it correctly or ordering her a new chair. She wanted the sofa and the chair replaced at no charge. Lane's warranty is to repair or replace a defect product. Her sofa was not defective and they would only replace the chair. She would not accept this. The sales rep for Lane and his sales manager offered to meet with her at Sheely's and work with her on a reselection of fabrics that would not bunch as much as the one she special ordered. ( it has to do with how heavy/thick a fabric is) She refused to drive to Sheely's to work with them. Since there was nothing defective about the sofa there was a $100 usage fee. This customer took weeks to decide what she wanted to do while using the furniture. Lane even offered her a full refund less the $100 and she could reselect furniture from any manufacture she chose. She refused all these offers and she chose to just have the chair replaced which we did in November of 2012."

This is an aggregated report of several different purchases and post purchase experiences with this store.  In every case they have been helpful, know their products and fairly price their merchandise.  Delivery service is excellent.  In one instance we bought a mattress that we ultimately felt was too hard for our comfort.  Despite a clearly posted sign of "no returns" on mattresses (a policy I can well understand), a representative came to our home and helped us figure out ways to "solve our problem".  Without going into details here they were most responsive and helpful (we ultimately decided to keep the mattress and have learned to live with it).

Sheeleys is and will be our first choice whenever we have to shop for an appliance or furniture.

THE SALESWOMAN WAS VERY POLITE AND HELPFUL. SINCE THE FURNITURE WAS BEING MADE TO ORDER, I HAD TO SELECT THE FABRICS FOR THE FURNITURE AND ACCENT PILLOWS. THIS WAS A LITTLE OVERWHELMING BECAUSE OF ALL THE CHOICES, BUT THE SALESWOMAN WAS A BIG HELP. THE FURNITURE WASN'T DELIVERED UNTIL ALMOST TWO MONTHS LATER, SO IT WAS A BIT OF A WAIT.
