I was very happy with my entire experience using Carol's Custom Concrete. I found them very responsive - someone was always available to answer the phone during business hours, and Bob would call me back to answer specific questions within a day or so. He came out to do the initial estimate within a few days, and the price he quoted was competitive. He was also willing to arrange all necessary city permits and available to start work shortly after the permits came through. 
Bob was communicative about when he would start and showed up when he said he would. He and his team were very friendly and pleasant. I'm very happy with the quality of the work and how the projects turned out. They arranged for an additional step going up to my porch to make the steps less steep. They also graded the slope of the driveway so that it's not too steep. 
Not only does the concrete work look great, but they really paid attention to the details. Parts of my porch that had to be taken apart as they tore out steps and built molds for the concrete were all carefully replaced; they smoothed out landscaping that was jostled, reseeded grass that was torn up, and even patched where the street was damaged by cutting the curb. Because my driveway had to be poured right along the property line, they got my neighbors' permission to take down their fence, removed the fence so they had the room they needed to pour, then immediately replaced the fence so my neighbors could let their dogs back out. I can't imagine a better experience than I had with Bob and the Carol's Custom Concrete crew, and I definitely recommend them.
