Tom Stenger

We called Tom Stenger to do painting of our woodwork in our living, dining, family, and dinette rooms. It took him a from March, 2012 to Feb. 23, 2013, to finish this job & our house is not that large. He left me w/ doors propped against the dinette walls, drop cloths on the floors, & furniture in disarray during Thanksgiving & Christmas holidays. He said he had to finish painting for several "old ladies because they wanted theirs done before the holidays." And I didn't??? Holiday plans had to be changed due to the condition of my house. I still have painter's tape on some of my woodwork. He takes on other jobs before he finishes his existing clients. He is not a man of his word. He is not reliable, dependable, or trustworthy. He does not return calls, texts, or voicemail messages. When he does arrive to finally paint, he will not even give an explanation for his not showing up or even apologize for the inconvenience he has caused you. After being gone for almost 2 months, he greeted me with, "Hi, sunshine."  Then he said to me, "You will not find a better painter than me." Such ego does not warrant any kind of positive recommendation. We paid him for a service & invited him into our home. What we ultimately ended up with cost us a great deal of money in many ways. We ultimately fired Tom Stenger and will not recommend Tom Stenger Painting and Decorating to anyone!!
