The trees were removed and I am happy with that, although they charged me $250 more than their estimate. When they ground out the cores of the trees, large holes were left in the ground with huge piles of dirt and wood slivers mixed in. It would have been nice of them to level those out and uncover my front walkway, until a landscaper could come. By the way, the owner never gave me the landscaper referrals he promised. While grinding the stump of the Crab Apple tree, a stone flew out of the dirt and went right through the garage window. A worker came and removed the window a week or two later (August 1st - I was on vacation) and said they would repair it, but it is August 27th and I haven't heard from anyone and I still have no window. I paid the $1500 bill, minus the tax, which was a little over $100, thinking that holding back the money would be an incentive to get my window back. I should not have paid anything at all until the job was completely done... which is my advice to you. Or better yet, don't hire Timberland Tree Service at all. Update: After a sarcastic email to Timberlands about "how long does it take to replace a piece of glass?" I received a text from the owner that said he has tried to contact me in the past to return it. That's really odd because I have voice mail and received no messages. He told me he tried to call me the month between June and July to notify when he was coming. Funny, I didn't get any messages that time either. He said he was dyslexic so maybe that's why I didn't get any calls. So don't expect any kind of professional customer service by phone. The good news is I found my storm window on the back porch... no knock on the door, or communication as usual, even though the owner knew I was home . I guess my 55 year old body will have to climb the ladder and hang the heavy window on my own. Thanks Timberlands.

I called for a quote and left a message he called back that day and was out the next day and gave me the quote. I called two other places and they did not call back so I went with Timberlands, price seemed decent. He said it might be two weeks but it was only one week. They cut the tree down and ground the stump and the roots in an area around the stump to a foot deep, very nice job. They did a great job cleaning up the yard. I will definitely use them again.

I called for a quote and they were out the next day. I called a few other providers some of which showed up and others didn't. The quote was fair, he stated in the quote he wouldn't be able to get to it for a couple of weeks. I came home a few days later and the job was done. They cleaned up the yard very well. I will use them in the future.
