We've been attempting to get a pool heater fixed. It took three weeks for the original appointment. Within two days it died again. They have been out a few times and admitted they did not know what was wrong with it. The manufacturer advised it was a gas issue. We had the gas company adjust the line and it died within five minutes. So, we've wasted a whole pool season with no solution from Ohio Pools and Spas. Communication has been terrible, it's all through text. We've left messages and barely gotten a callback.

This is a tricky review, on one hand everything this company sells (and all pool and spa companies) is heinously overpriced but I've learned you have to consider that that added price that you pay versus buying from say Amazon, get you access to actual professionals who can help you. Let's face it, unless you have a chemistry degree, a background in plumbing, an actual command of commercial electrical work, you cannot do this on your own. Sure you might be able to piecemeal together all the contractors and by one of these things from one of those companies that sells them online at suspiciously low prices but all you're buying is Chinese sprayed fiberglass junk. Trust me, it so happens that I know the owner of the largest company who sells that garbage. He once told me that if a product (hot tub) shows up off the container with damage they just throw the dumpster. That's how cheap they are, the company is able to literally discard them. Ohio pool and spa to the best of my knowledge, only sells Hot Springs. When I was there looking at various spies the factory rep happened to be there who has an encyclopedic knowledge of their product line. What truly sold me was a hot tub built in 1997! That's right, I was in their showroom in 2019 and they showed me a hot Springs tub that they got from a customer from 1997 and is still running. That is simply amazing. Now imagine all the technology that has been added to these in 22 years... Moto massagers, spinning jets, LED lights, more waterfalls than you need, audio options, kind of endless. So here's the deal, I was contemplating purchasing one of these from one of their competitors when the security manager of my building overheard me talking to somebody and asked if he could make a suggestion. Naturally I welcome anyone's input when making a large purchase and he told me about the wonderful experience that he had and continues to have by doing business with Ohio pools and spa. I walked into my office and called them, they happen to have a sale going on (I suspect they always happen to have a sale going on) and as soon as I got there the spa that I first saw happen to be the one that I ended up purchasing. Why was my experience so good that I would take the time to write a review for this company? Was my experience flawless? Not all… I had all kinds of issues. Broken jets, faulty motor, LEDs that needed replaced. The reason I'm leaving this review is because there was no bickering or "negotiating" these folks have customer service that would shame Amazon in the early days (remember when they were good). They got me up and running, never charge me a penny for at least four visits to adjust this or that.. They upgraded items where I paid for the part they provide the service free. You really just can't get better customer service than these guys and that's what sets them apart. Yes their product in my opinion is superior to the competitors. I saw a negative review here that talked about customer service being slow to get back to, hang up the phone call back. It's really easy, it zero and get a live person on the phone… They walk your call back to the right person. Problem solved. I could keep going but I hope by now my point has been made. Give Ohio Pool & Spa a call, you will be glad that you did.

All went very well - from the sales staff all the way to the delivery and install team. Great communication from all involved, which made the whole process stress free.

We will be using Ohio Pools for our future openings/closings of our pool.  Ohio Pools is a top notch organization and employs high quality service techs.

They got things straightened out quickly.

The process was professional. on time and looks great. The best part about our experience was dealing with Charlie. He was knowledgeable, friendly and always available. We purchase all of our chemicals and patio furniture there also.

I took delivery this past Saturday 09/21/2013 of a new Hot Springs spa that I purchased in August from the North Olmsted location of Ohio Pools and Spas. The Ohio Pools and Spas company is first class in all areas. The sales experience in August was professional, informative and low key...no high pressure sales tactics...very fair pricing. The cabinet/color combination I selected needed to be ordered and the spa arrived ready to be delivered exactly in the time promised by the sales manager. 
After the initial purchase in August the installation site inspection and delivery scheduling were promptly handled by their customer service team who also made a follow-up call the night prior to delivery to make sure no plans had changed.
I can't say enough about the exceptional delivery team. The day of delivery it was raining and in addition to delivery of the new spa arrangements had been made to also remove my old spa. The four man delivery team accomplished this in the rain with no damage to my yard or landscaping. The set up of the new spa and spa cover with pneumatic cover lifter went quickly and the delivery team provided a very thorough and easy to understand review of operating and periodic maintenance instructions.
I hope the Hot Springs spa lives up to its reputation for high quality because all members of the Ohio Pools and Spas team have provided an excellent sales and service experience to date.

We purchased a reconditioned spa at Ohio Pools and Spas at their North Canton store at the end of March, and it was delivered on the first Friday of April. We were delighted to enjoy our new spa for the first couple of days, until we discovered it was leaking. A service technician came out a couple of days later and could not identify the source of the leak on-site.He was sincerely apologetic and suggested that the next step would be to take the spa back to the store to properly identify and deal with the leak.
I followed up with Customer Service, who offered to exchange an identical spa to replace the leaky one. A few more days later, the delivery team came with our replacement. They cheerfully worked in the cold and rain to make sure that everything was in order for our enjoyment. 
From our first visit to the showroom at 6815 Whipple Avenue NW in North Canton, through to the delivery of the replacement spa, our experience with every salesperson, technician and customer service representative was nothing short of professional, personal and pleasant! Not once did anyone try to make excuses or to shift blame to us. Their concern was always genuinely to serve us and make sure we were completely satisfied. 
I HIGHLY recommend Ohio Pools and Spas at any of their NE Ohio locations for outstanding sales, service and support!

The price was reasonable.  They were close to us.  They showed up on time the way they were supposed to.  Their customer service was very good.

The service has been excellent.

Compared Grande Hot Springs Spa to Sundance Optima spa.  Both seemed built well.  Just liked Grande More.  Ohio Pools and Spas were excellent through the whole process.  Install went very well.  Very pleased with the whole transaction.

Ohio Pools put our pool in in 1996. We have used them consistently for opening/closing and servicing our pool.  They are extremely reliable and professional.   We wish the services were less costly, however, we've learned you get what you pay for.

Their work was honest, fair, and quite helpful.

Pools are very expensive, and it is especially so to put in a new liner.  The company I originally bought my pool liner from went out of business but my liner was defective and needed replaced.  I could not get anyone from the original company to help with this problem.  Mike came to the rescue and worked with me to fix the problem and replace the liner.  He was able to help me at a price that was affordable.

I trust them at my home even when I am not there.  They always do a great job and are very prompt and professional.  They also have great sales prices.

They were fine, and I was happy. They were on time. They came out about six weeks ago, but they did the job about two weeks ago. Everything was good. They told me if I waited till after their busy season, they would give me a discount. I had to close the swimming pool up early because of the problem. I was completely satisfied, and I think they were happy too. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

We purchased the tub. They installed on the agreed upon date. Prompt courteous service.

They were great. Every time we have had them out they are good.

RYAN SOLD A PRODUCT HE WAS NOT FAMILIAR WITH. MAJOR ELECTRICAL EXTRAS WERE NOT DISCLOSED. ($800) PRODUCT WAS DELIVERED 6 WKS. LATER THAN PROMISED. WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH OUR FINISHED STEAM ROOM, BUT VERY UNHAPPY WITH THE COMPANY THAT SOLD IT. ALSO, MISLAID $113 IN EARNED "BONUS BUCKS."

HAS BEEN A PLEASURE DEALING WITH THIS CREW ESPECIALLY JUSTIN IN SALES. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS GREAT, THEY DELIVERED WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD, THE SET UP GUYS WERE ALL POLITE AND HELPFUL AND I CONTINUE TO CALL THEM FOR HELP WITH THE CHEMICALS AND THEY ARE ALWAYS NICE AND INFORMATIVE.
