BOLON'S KITCHENS & BATHS

Bolon's worked with us to remodel our kitchen, three full baths and laundry room. They were professional and worked with us to create a beautifully renovated home. Very responsive.

They have done a very good job. They were really very cooperative. The quality of their work was excellent and had good detail. They cleaned up their messes and everything after each day of work. Each bathroom was in the $8,000 range.

I was loading dishes into the cabinet during Holy week, 2010 when it fell of the wall onto me and the TV on the counter top.  a great deal of glassware fell out as well.  The cabinet rested on my shoulder as I tried to catch dishes on their way out!  I cleaned up the msess and put the cabinet out to the trash.  Only a month later did I contact my insurance company.  They offered me $600.00 for the cabinet and it's contents, but I insisted that they replace it.  It was so cheap that they could not.  So they settled on a price to redo the entire kitchen in like quality.  We started shopping around and were shocked to learn how expensive kitchens can be.  We were hesitant to go to Bolons because we thought they would be the most expensive,.  Such was not the case.  Shelly worked with us and designed a beautiful kitchen which was within our price range.
Habitat for Humanity removed the remaining cabinets and island, giving us a tax deduction, and Bolons credited our bill with the cost of removal and disposal.  When the work began, they did a beautiful job of sealing off the remainder of the house.  A wall was removed and everything in the kitchen except the flooring was replaced.  Bolons worked with Belden brick to custom match our flooring in a few places.  The work progressed rapidly and the entire kitchen - including new construction - was completed in three weeks - as promised!  The workers did a great job of cleaning every day at the end of the work day.  We made several changes to the electrical layout and Bolons absorbed whatever additional cost there may have been.
The new island seats six comfortably.  Its fun to work with our grandchildren as they cook or color.  We stand on one side while they sit on the other.  We love our cabinets.  When the kitchen was opened up to the family room (by the removal of the wall) it cried out for new flooring in the family room.  Our new hardwood flooring ties the two rooms together.
We can't recommend any builder with more enthusiasm!   
October 2, 2015.  We are beginning the process of remodeling our master bath.  Because of our very positive experience with Bolon's we have asked them for a design and proposal.

A MAJOR REMODEL CAN BE A STRESSFUL EXPERIENCE, BUT BOLON'S TOOK US THROUGH EVERY STEP SEAMLESSLY. DALE MICKLEY, OUR DESIGNER, WAS HELPFUL AND INFORMATIVE, GENUINELY INTERESTED IN HELPING US COME UP WITH A DESIGN THAT WAS RIGHT FOR US. HE WAS GRACIOUS ABOUT MAKING CHANGES AND NEVER PRESSURED US. THE FINAL DESIGN WAS CREATIVE, FUNCTIONAL, AND AESTHETICALLY PLEASING. OUR INSTALLER, RANDY HINES, IS A MASTER CRAFTSMAN, METICULOUS ABOUT EVERY DETAIL. OUR 1928 FLOORS PROVED TO BE VERY UNEVEN, SO THE PREPARATION WORK FOR THE TILE FLOORS TOOK MUCH LONGER THAT ANYONE ANTICIPATED, BUT RANDY (AND HIS BOSS RICK) NEVER SEEMED TEMPTED TO CUT CORNERS TO SAVE TIME. IT WAS A PLEASURE TO WATCH THIS SKILLED CRAFTSMAN AT WORK, AND I HAVE COMPLETE FAITH THAT EVEN THE THINGS WE COULDN'T SEE WERE DONE RIGHT. RANDY (AND RICK) HANDLED THE INEVITABLE GLITCHES WITH SKILL AND APPARENT EASE. EVERY ASPECT OF THIS JOB WAS FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ALL AROUND!
