Dan Faith Roofing

I had two different jobs done, first was the roof that was hit by a tree which was covered under my insurance and we replaced the entire roof, tearoff with new shingles front and back, ice guard, ridge vent, etc. They did a fantastic job and a solid upgrade to my blue tarp I had up there. They also did interior work repairing my daughters room and they came in, completed the job, cleaned up and fixed everything in the room that was damaged without even being able to notice they were in there. As for the biggest transformation to my house, I decided to go with Dan Faith to complete the siding on my house from T1-11 to the premium monogram. Jason Faith met me out on two separate occasions, once for the roof, then once again to quote my siding and I feel the price is competitive and the quality of work was superb. They did a fantastic job overall and if I were an expert in what they do, I'd do it all exactly the same. The company made no short cuts, I now have metal trim on my windows, all new siding and new gutters which also look fantastic. I can't speak highly enough of the work they did, i'm glad my insurance company recommended them.

All the T111 and trim was removed and 43 sheets of 5/8" sheathing installed.Sealed with foil backed foam sheets and house wrap material, prior to installing Certainteed 7" rough shake on the gables and 4 1/2" double clapboard up to a frieze board. All trim boards were 6" AZEK. Eric's crew worked hard. It was dirty work, but they saw it through. Jason's estimated 6-7 day completion window was spot on. Be prepared for lots of pounding, it's not a cooking show. The end result is a 1980s home with a fresh 21st century surface that looks fantastic and is weather tight. I would hire this company again in a heartbeat.

Estimator came promptly and gave an accurate estimate and time scale.  Materials were delivered 2 days before the work so that when the crew arrived they were able to start work efficiently. Shingles were removed the first hour and trucked to a recycling center.  Rotted roof edge was expertly repaired at a mutually agreed reasonable additional cost. Crew worked through lunch break in order to finish before bad weather. 
Work area was cleaned up.  Installation took care to do no damage to the existing gutter guards.  A totally satisfactory professional job.  Crew size was proper to complete the job efficiently and they brought all the tools and extra materials with them.

The roof leak continued.  I called and talked to Theresa who said someone would call me to come out and repair the leak.  After  2 weeks waiting, I got someone else to fix it.   We were going to have Dan Faith put a  new roof on  next spring,  but after I see what happens when there is a problem, I don't want them to put up the new roof. Very disappointed.  We thought JJ was very good.  We  wonder it Theresa ever gave him the message.

We had received  4 previous "estimates " for  roof repairs from other roofing companies.   We had a small occasional slow drip  into the  attic and a loose gutter.  We specifically asked for a repair since we had to save money  for a new roof.  No company wanted to be bothered with a repair.   I assume they make much more money with new roofs.      The  estimate  costs were  $5000 to $8500.  One company rep did not even have a ladder with him.  I think he was just a salesman. He said that gutters usually come away from the house  because of rotted wood but he  did not go up and look.  

The Dan Faith men showed up at exactly the appt. time,  were dressed in real  work clothes, with ladders, and  went directly to work.  The wood was not rotted, JJ was able to reattach the gutter. They also sealed   the flashing around the chimney that was the source of the slow drip.

Our roof is older and yes, we know we will need a roof  in the next year or two.  But Dan Faith  company  did what we asked for...got us through the winter, so we can save money  for a  new roof.    Of course, they will be our choice for the new roof.

Thor came out and listened to all my concerns and then went up on the roof.  When he came back he provided pictures and answered all questions as to the problem and how it should be fixed.
Two workers came on Friday and installed the new skylights, flashing and the ice barrier.  On Saturday this area got 4 in of rain in an hour.  The roof never leaked.  Another crew came out on Monday to finish the moulding around the inside of the window. Everyone was professional and they did a great job cleaning up.  They hauled the trash away instead of filling up my trash can.

so far everything wintered well. House looks new again an it was warme. The guy cut and bent the angles nice and tight. Looks better than the original siding.

work went as planned, slight delay due to wrong shake siding having been ordered. had to re-order and supplier did not have enough to complete the job, so had to wait for it to come in. work crew was very neat and professional. Bob and Bob were very knowledgable and hard working. they made sure we were happy with what they did and explained everything as they went along .Dan is very easy to work withand the price was good.  We made a major change to the front of the house and it came out perfect . I would highly reccommend Dan and his crew.

He did a really good job. I was satisfied with his work. I had to call him back because I did have a small leak. He did come back and fix it. His price was the most reasonable out of all the estimates I received.

Overall I would give him all A's. He did a good job and we have gone through the winter and haven't had any problems. He uses high quality shingles only.
