The provider was very nice and put booties on his shoes so he didn't get the carpet dirty. He inspected the unit downstairs and poured bleach down the pic pipe that drains excess moisture from the air conditioner. He inspected the mechanical parts inside and then checked the unit outside. He said to hose the outside unit off to get debris off the coils. He was friendly and I thought thorough. I asked if we could have a freon leak and he said no we'd have more water if we did. We still had water under the units after he left, and I called him to ask what it could be. He said it might be a cracked condensate drain pan and he'd have to take half the inside unit apart to be sure. I wasn't comfortable with him doing it since he didn't specialize in Carrier. The problem ended up being low freon and a small leak from our evaporator coil. They had to add 3 lbs of freon to the unit. The evaporator coil was freezing up from low freon and the water was from the ice melting. I approached the first provider for a refund today since he didn't inspect the freon levels. We could've avoided part of our high electric bill had it been fixed first.

He was okay. I think it was high. I thought I saw on Angie's List that there was furnace cleaning for like $59. It was pretty quick. He kind of showed me...he said, come down here, let me show you what I am talking about. He kept calling and followed up the call and then he emailed me, I think. Give him an A on that, he was pretty good with that. He was right on time. He was professional.

"I recall being hired for a repair of the old furnace and was able to quickly determine that the furnace problem was from a large crack in the heat exchanger. The cost of repair as I said was more than a new replacement. I spent considerable time explaining everything I found and actually showing you the problem. Also much time was spent with you providing the replacement option with complete pricing and details of the process. The price for the time involved was more than fair as was the replacement option."

"Dear [Removed Customer Name], I'm sorry that you were unhappy with the service and price, however the price was explained before any service was conducted and you personally approved and requested having two furnaces and one a/c checked out that were not part of your big deal a/c special you bought from Angie's list. As a matter of fact you requested additional service to be performed on your fire place because of it being so cost effective. The total price of $325.00 divided by 5 different units is only $65.00. That is a fair price that you readily accepted. The inspection report showed that you had issues with both furnaces and one a/c. I did give you an estimate on making some of these services and you did decline the services."

did that or not. Told me I had a leak in the air-conditioning and something about the chimney that would cost over $600 to fix. Feel he was just looking to add more things so he could charge more money.

Please understand that part of our service is to inform you of things that need corrected so that it does not cost you more money and inconvenience in the future. As for the plug, I did check it as I said I did. I guess the same trust you had for me being alone in your home could be applied to my word on the plug. Finally, the fee for the cleaning was stated and I did say the price per pound of freon, however I did not know the exact amount needed to top off the leaking system. Therefor I could not state that amount. If you have any questions or concerns, plese contact me and I would be glad to help. Thank you for your business."

I feel that it went very well. He gave be an estimate on when and if I choose to replace the a/c. He did not pressure me in any way and answered all of my questions fully.

Furnace and A/C were not operative. Called Aaron's Air heating and Cooling and he was there within the hour. Took him about 15 minutes to isolate the problem in the central A/C unit. Mice had entered inside the unit and chewed up the wiring and shorted out the switch inside. Aaron had the part on hand, rewired the damage and sealed the unit to keep the mice from getting back inside. Service charge was more than fair. He is probably the only one of a few contractors I would trust with the keys to my house. Excellent work and very reasonable on parts. A couple of years ago he installed a gas space heater in my garage. Real professional installation, fair price and excellent products. Would recommend him for heating and A/C and repair work to anyone. Nice to find someone who doesn't try to oversell you material or labor.
