+ -1 moreDave Allman doesn't return phone calls or show up when promised. He sold me an AC unit and then when it quit working he came to repair it the first time. It quit working again in August of 2011 when I contacted him, all I received were promises - absolutely no action. I've notified Frigidaire to inform them that they have an irresponsible person representing their company by selling their name brand yet doesn't stand behind their product by answering service call requests. No action from this person since August of 2011!!!! DO NOT hire Dave Allman for any of your home repairs or services.
Description of Work: I purchased a new Frigidaire AC in 2010 from Dave Allman Home Improvements, Newton Falls, OH 44444 (330-442-1286) (330-872-8370), In the summer of 2011, it stopped working. Mr. Allman fixed the problem, but towards the end of the summer in 2011, it stopped working again. I contacted Mr. Allman probably a dozen times with promises that he would be here "the next day" to take care of the issue - and most of the time, he just didn't bother returning my calls. He never came and I finished off the summer of 2011 without air conditioning. I've contacted Mr. Allman three times thus far this year (2012) to come and take care of the problem - again, promises but no action. I strongly recommend that people not hire someone who doesn't want to stand behind his work. I'm very disappointed in the service that Allman Home Improvements (Dave Allman) has provided me with (or shall I say, "lack thereof"). I just feel that the public needs to know that this person is not a responsible business individual and I would strongly caution anyone about hiring him.
