The group of young men that installed our whole house generator was phenomenal. Very friendly and knowledgeable about what they was doing. Bill was great. Not sure the other two guys name. Very hard workers . After it was installed he walked us through everyone. I will recommend Weekley Electric to everyone. The girls in the office also Very knowledgeable of the products. Answered all my questions.

The crew knew the electrical codes and communicated what they were doing through this small project. They had booties over their shoes and cleaned up well after the job was finished. My only complaint was it took about 10 weeks after scheduling to get the job completed.

Poor service. I called for service when I lost electrical service in part of my house and was told Kirk would call me back, but he never did. I also contacted them to replace some ceiling fans-lights. They did come out and measure, but it has been 2 months and they have never contacted me again. I called their office and told them that Kirk had never called me back about the loss of electrical service and I never got a quote on the fan-lights. I was told I would be called, but it has been 2 more weeks and nothing. They are very unreliable and don't do what they say they will do.

I contacted Weekley Electric and Curt Bragg came out and looked over the project. Out of the three companies I interviewed, Weekely gave me the most information and instilled the most confidence. All the old cloth covered knob and tube wiring needed to be replaced in my 100 year-old house and I needed additional outlets and switches. I provided him with schematics
identifying all the outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures to be updated and within a few days, he sent me an estimate for the work that I thought was quite reasonable. We set a start date and two electricians arrived on the agreed upon day at 7:15 in the morning. I walked them through the house pointing out the old switches/outlets and identified where the new ones were to be located. Around 8:00 am two more electricians arrived and everyone worked all day with just a short lunch break. They were all very professional, respected my furniture and things and worked hard all day. They did have to drill some holes in the walls and ceilings to install new wire, but they made four inch circle cuts and used the cut out to fill the hole where they could. Because the walls are plaster and have a tendency to crumble, it was not always possible to do this and my contractor came in and closed up where needed. The project took about five and one-half days. The guys were very good about cleaning up and
removing the debris and sweeping up as much of the plaster dust as possible. I still had to mop the floors, but that was not something I expected them to do. At one point there were six electricians and two helpers working in my house. Weekley was very good about informing me when they would arrive and the guys made several suggestions that worked better than what I had requested. When they ran up against something that prohibited putting an outlet where I wanted it (concrete around the fireplace), they explained the situation to me and we agreed on an alternate location. We ran a little over budget, but that was due to changes and additions I made after the estimate. A great big thanks to Jack for making me laugh, to Doug and Roger for crawling around in my attic, and Bobby who was a super onsite working manager. I am certainly enjoying the new light switches and outlets and not worrying about the old wiring any more. I will use this company again and can highly recommend them.

Started with another company to do warranty work on a unit that is less than 2 yrs old and quit running its weekly test cycle. The first company did not seem to be able to troubleshoot the issue, so I called Weekly and they even tried to help over the phone (kudos for that). However since everything I tried did not work, I scheduled them to come out first thing on a Monday morning. The Saturday before they were to come out, a plastic piece broke on my unit when I tried to test it. Because the unit was not able to run they charged me for the trip out which I did not totally agree with, as the unit is under warranty (parts and amp; labor) and I thought that they would have the part on their trucks or in stock but they did not, but I paid it. The part was ordered which took two weeks to get in (this seemed a bit long, but I do not know the process between the company and Generac) and when I called to see about if the part had come in and getting scheduled, it was a we'll try and fit you in scenario instead of we can get you scheduled at a certain date or time. Which even if you are busy I understand, but as the customer I had been now waiting 3 weeks to get my unit repaired during a time of year I may need the thing for the very reason I invested in it.
They are nice people, who seem to do good work when you can get them out. However communication about your issue if it can't be fixed in one trip and scheduling could be better and ends up being somewhat challenging.

No one was available to discuss the work I needed when I first called, but Curt called back the same date and set up a time for a service person to do the work. Lee arrived early to do the job when a opening occurred in his schedule. I had removed the old fixture, so he had to assemble the new fixture and install it. He completed this within the time allotted for an initial service call, one hour. I was charged $85 for the installation, which Curt had estimated over the phone initially and which I thought was reasonable. Lee then answered my questions about further lighting work in my kitchen. He was knowledgable about products needed and the quote he and Curt worked up (immediately, over the phone) was reasonable as well.
I would use Weekley Electric again for lighting/electrical needs in my house. Lee and Curt were timely, efficient in their work, and left the site clean and ready for me to replace the furniture.

I found Weekley Electric from the Generac website and also checked their Angie's List ratings.
Kevin, of Weekley Electric arrived right on time. He not only changed the spark plugs, oil and filter, He made sure the electrical output of the generator was correct to run my house in the event of an electrical outage. This involved checking the electric inside at the circuit breaker box and numerous adjustments to my generator. Kevin also provided several tips on maintaining the generator through out the year. When to check the oil level, keeping brush away, etc.
I was very pleased with the service provided and will be using them again next year.

They were local and I had good recommendations for them from the other people that had used them. They gave a reasonable quote and followed up on their commitments. They literally did everything that I asked them to do and everything that they promised to do. It was done right the first time and all the time. Frankly, the other companies that I contacted never bothered to contact me and hence I blew them off.

They were very nice and seemed efficient. They showed up when they said they would, surveyed and wrote us out an estimate. They explained how they would do it. The quote we got from them and another company was within a few dollars of each other, but the coupon made the difference. I know that they installed a generator for one of my neighbors.

These contractors have always shown up when they said they would, calling ahead to confirm. They explain what they're doing to onlookers and complete the work as quickly as they can, given the surprises inherent in working on an old house. For example, when ensuring that the front porch light could work and putting up a new fixture, they discovered that the outlet had never been properly wired or grounded, so they took care of that. When working on the electrical supply for the additions, they discovered that the house's circuit board had never been properly grounded, so they ensured that it would be safe. And they are willing to explain what went wrong; digging, in mud and rain, to find the pump's electrical supply and repair it, they found that not only had indoor wire been used, without a protective conduit no less, but that at some point the wire had been nicked and repaired just with electrical tape--the reason for the pump shutting off, leaving us without water.
