+ -1 moreOVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS "MIXED" AS SOME THINGS WENT WELL, AND OTHERS DIDN'T. THEIR PRICE WAS 50-75% LESS OF THE COMPETITIVE BIDS, SO THAT WAS A BIG PLUS, VERY AFFORDABLE. HOWEVER, ORIGINALLY I WAS TOLD THE PROJECT WOULD TAKE 3 WEEKS TO COMPLETE, I EXPECTED IT TO END UP AT 4 WEEKS. UNFORTUNATELY IT WAS OVER 11 WEEKS BEFORE IT WAS COMPLETED. ROOFING WENT VERY QUICKLY, AND THE WORK IS FANTASTIC. NEW CONSTRUCTION WENT QUICKLY AS WELL, BUT QUALITY WAS MEDIOCRE AT BEST. ATTENDANCE WAS POOR, I RARELY SAW ANYONE THERE MORE THAN 8 HOURS ANY GIVEN WEEK. PHONE CALLS WERE VIRTUALLY NEVER RETURNED. QUITE A FEW AREAS OF THE NEW CONSTRUCTION, AND CONCRETE WORK WERE A LITTLE OUT OF SQUARE, OR LACKED A GOOD FINISHED APPEARANCE. BEING A GARAGE AND WORKSHOP, IT WAS NO BIG DEAL. HAD IT BEEN LIVING AREA, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN DIFFERENT. WHILE IT TOOK ENTIRELY TOO LONG TO COMPLETE, AND QUALITY WAS JUST "OK", I WOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN ABLE TO AFFORD THIS PROJECT WITH ANY OTHER CONTRACTOR.
Description of Work: REMODEL EXISTING GARAGE INTO A WORKSHOP, AND ADD NEW GARAGE ON TO FRONT OF OLD GARAGE. NEW DRYWALL, AND CEILINGS INSTALLED IN BOTH AREAS, ALL NEW ROOFING INSTALLED ON ENTIRE HOUSE, DRIVEWAY REMOVED FOR NEW GARAGE REPLACED WITH CONCRETE, NEW CONCRETE PORCH SLAB, AND SIDEWALK BUILT, 3 NEW DOORS HUNG, NEW 200 AMP BREAKER BOX INSTALLED, AND ALL WIRING INSTALLED IN BOTH AREAS, NEW GUTTER ON FRONT OF HOUSE, INSULATION BLOWN INTO ATTIC OF OLD GARAGE (NOW WORKSHOP). BASICALLY, THEY TURNED MY OLD GARAGE INTO A WORKSHOP/STUDIO, AND ADDED A NEW GARAGE. EVERYTHING WAS FINISHED UP TO THE PAINTING STAGE. WHEN ROOFING THE NEW GARAGE, THEY RE-ROOFED THE WHOLE HOUSE, AND THEY REPLACED, AND REPAIRED MY CRUMBLING SIDEWALK, AND PORCH.
