MAIDS PLUS

Two cleaners showed up from the Newark office, on time and ready to go. Spent most of the day, and did a reasonably thorough job. During 2009-2010, we have continued to use this company with good success although there's recently been an ownership change.

This is the lousiest cleaning company I have ever seen. I wasn't able to go to the house when they were finished, so I checked the house the day after the work (which was my first mistake). The refrigerator was dirty on the exterior, the inside of the refrigerator had been slightly wiped down (still dirty), the shelves were filthy, and the freezer hadn't been touched. The stove was still filthy and it didn't appear that it had been touched either. The kitchen and bath floors weren't mopped because the corners were full of dust and debris. The ceiling fan had barely been touched either. I'm not sure what they did for 3-1/2 hrs. The only things that appeared to be done were sweeping of the carpets and washing the windows. They also broke the handle on the kitchen faucet. I spent 2-1/2 hrs cleaning the appliances, floors, ceiling fan and kitchen wall the next day. I didn't check Angie's List beforehand and learned my lesson. I will NEVER use this company again or refer them out.
