Jack's Septic Tank Cleaning and Construction

Terrible customer service from the owner Kelli. She was rude and basically called me a liar. When I made the appt I told her we have never had the septic tank pumped and we didn’t know where the access was. She said no problem they can find it. Not a word about any charges if they couldn’t. I called again the week of the appt to make sure they knew that the kid was not exposed and asked them if they were sure that they could find it. I was again assured that they could. No mention of any fees if they could not. They come out and poke around for a bit, can’t find it and charge me $88. That is certainly something they should tell you up front. I called and left a message telling them that it came as a surprise to me and that they need to let customers know that. The owner called me back and stated she did tell me that and that I told her the lid was exposed. I did not. She argued with me and basically called me a liar and said she told me. She was very rude and that’s terrible customer service.

I don’t know what I did to get the treatment I did from the owner Kelli. But if that’s how she treats other customers, that have questionable service, I would say leaving a bad review is the least of their worries. I have never had such poor customer service in my life. All over a question I wanted answered, regarding the work they did for me back in November. The work preformed was a “female plug” being bad and replaced. We paid and everything seemed to be fine. We look to sell our house, and a home inspector comes out and points out that the plug was actually just unplugged, and no signs of any replacement was done. I called into the office, to not get anything “free”, as I believe Kelli kept telling herself I was, but to just have proof to the inspector that the plug was replaced and it’s working properly. I said I understand there would be a service fee, but just wanted to get it taken care of before the closing of our house. I hope to think that it was just a bad day in the office, but I do think other customers should know and keep a closer eye on the project

Our town was having trouble with the sewer line and Jack's worked with us in our need for a new septic system. They helped us along as we waited for the new sewer system to be installed. They went above and beyond and we would recommend them highly.

Last year, we found the house of our dreams. During the inspection process, we discovered the aerator motor had been stolen from the septic system. Jack's was able to give us the fastest appointment for replacement, with the lowest estimate. The service was performed within days, and the bill that followed was for the same price we were quoted.
At the last possible moment, our lender and the VA requested a full septic service prior to closing, and provided a very short time frame for this to completed -- we weren't sure any provider would be able to complete the service within this very short time frame [about a week!]
There was a tremendous amount of interest in the house we bought, and if there had been any major delays in the work completed, we might have lost out to another buyer. I realize most septic work doesn't come with such constraints, but through the gauntlet of the buying process, I've come to trust this company, and will be using them for years to come.
