Jerry Davies showed up to replace blocked drain line, install cleanout and fix vent. He found drain piping was not what appeared on 1st inspection and he did not have time / material to correctly fix the issues he found.
He performed temp fix. He installed / repaired temp drain by plugging upper vent pipe with a rag and left lower vent pipe open in wall. Replaced existing plastic pipe that was cut before repair was stopped with the issues found.
He basically put the same plumbing back in place and charged me because he could not fix it properly with time and material he had on hand.
He left and stated he would need to re-schedule when he had an opening approximately 6 weeks out.
He never called or returned my numerous calls to set up schedule after I waited 6 weeks.
I finally had another plumber come out and close off the venting, but still waiting for that plumber to call back to schedule perm fix.
I am currently searching for a plumber to complete the job. Newark Ohio does not have many plumbers free to do work .
