Dave Byrd has been painting for 30 years. He did an incredible job for a very nervous and particular owner (me). He power washed, caulked and repaired everything -- many things I hadn't noticed --beyond the call of duty, leaving my 31-year old cedar-sided Hoover Reservoir waterfront house and seven decks looking better than new. He's one of those guys who works almost exclusively from one referral to another -- no advertising needed. His price was literally HALF of other bids. He's one of those rare guys out "to make a living, not a killing." If you read this and don't ask him to bid your job, you are a fool.

DAVE WAS VERY PLEASANT AND FAST. I WISHED THAT HE WOULD HAVE USED KILZ OVER THE OLD PAINT AS IT BLED THROUGH A LITTLE AND THAT HE USED TAPE TO KEEP EDGES TIGHT. I THINK IF I HAD ASKED HIM TO DO THESE THINGS HE WOULD HAVE. OTHERWISE, I CANNOT GIVE HIM AN A BUT A B+.

HE CAME BACK AND DID TOUCH UPS OF HIS ORIGINAL WORK AT NO CHARGE AFTER THE PAINT JOB HAD BEEN THROUGH A WINTER SEASON. HE IS VERY FRIENDLY, PUNCTUAL, AND HIS WORK IS SUPERB. HE IS JUST FABULOUS AND VERY ATTENTIVE TO THE DETAILS.
