Hired Dave to clean out a drain at my Fathers house that was causing water to a back up into the basement every time the water purification system completed a cleaning cycle. Dave spent considerable time cleaning that drain as well as two outside drains servicing the gutters. He went above and beyond our expectations and solved the issue. He also completed the extra step to call me afterwards to walk through all the details. When I received the bill I was shocked, as I expected it to be two to three time more. It was a true pleasure to work with Dave and I will recommend him to everyone. He is excellent at what he does and has integrity in how he runs his business.

A pine tree had clogged up the drain and he did a great job. He also put a tarp over the top of clean out to make sure it did not splatter on other things. I would definitely hire him again and I would recommend him.

Dave and his helper responded quickly on a day when there was a very high demand for service due to extended rain and flooding in our area. He quickly identified the problem, augered out the drain, and resolved our issue in an efficient and professional manner. Highly recommended

Well Dave Riley came out yesterday and it is amazing how great it is when a sink works like it should. The first plumber from a few years ago did not do the job right and only fixed part of the problem. It took Dave only about 90 minutes to find the problem and fix what the other plumber hadn't. Now we have no issues, can use the disposal again, and for the first time, it drains like it never did. Thank you Dave.

Called that morning arrived later that day

Dave is the best. He has been our drain guy for over 25 years. He calls you right back. He moves fast. The work is always done right the first time.

We have a drain in the basement that seems to overflow with black stuff when we do laundry. We had Dave out here 2 months ago, but the issue could not be duplicated and he didnt charge us for that call. This week, the black stuff came out again 3 times in 2 days while doing laundry. I called him on 5-27-14 and he said he could come out on 5-28-14. We ran the washing machine and even filled the kitchen sink and let them both drain and he could not replicate it. He finally poured a bucket of water down the drain and it overflowed. He snaked the drain and hopefully that should take care of it. He says the furnace drains in to it and believes at one point was part of the kitchen sink, though now it has been rerouted. Dave is very awesome, knowledgeable and reasonable. Definitely recommended!

He was very thorough....listened to me describe what problem I was having then checked out the issue and went to work fixing the problem. Turns out the drains were badly clogged causing backup into bathtub and shower, as well as, the kitchen sink. Everything working good now, Will know more when do a few loads of laundry since that is what started the problem in the first place. (when washer was draining, the water was backing up in several drains ) Dave is very thorough, friendly and professional. I highly recommend this company .

Dave cleaned the basement drain and the kitchen drain. After he left, I noticed the pipes under the kitchen sink were leaking and called Dave. He returned the same day, but I wasn't home. So he came first thing the next morning. He took care of the lead by replacing some parts and did not charge anything for the work the second day. He is very professional and polite. I will definitely call him again for any future problems.

Called Dave Riley's Drain Services and they were able to come to the house within 30 minutes to snake the drain to the sewer in the basement. They completed the work very quickly and efficiently. The drain was blocked by tree roots and they had the appropriate equipment to complete the job. Very professional and quick/efficient. Highly recommend!

I have my drains cleaned about every 6-12 months. Dave Riley was reccommended and I first called him in 2008 and have had him ever since for maintenance or problems. He comes himself, is always prompt, polite, clean and works quickly and efficiently. The dogs like him. I have no more problems with my drains.

He is unbelieveable honest. He came out on Saturday and there was no extra charge. He did all the drains. He ran them through twice. He was extremely honest and really deserves the super service award.

Dave responded quickly with a call back and arranged a mutually agreeable time to come out. He was honest about the likelihood that the black plastic pipe was probably collapsed and the method would likely not work. However, since the alternative was getting the yard dug up for several hundred dollars and laying new drain pipe, we decided to gamble and told him to go ahead. He and one assistant arrived and got the drain running in under half an hour, so we were lucky! I liked how he called to remind us he was on his way before his service call, and his politeness and honesty would make me call him again. I got his name from an Angie's list company that did not service my area, and I understand from him that Dave took over the business from Dave's father and is well though of in the Newark Community.

Our plumber tried to unclog the drain to our kitchen sink, but was not able to reach the clog with the tools he had. He recommended Dave Riley's Drain Service, a company that specializes in unclogging drains and sewer lines. Dave and his assistant arrive on time and quickly used a drain auger to clear out the old pipes that had gotten clogged. Our house is about 100 years old and some of the pipes are about that old.

On the day I was scheduled to leave for vacation, I discovered that I had 4'' of standing water in my basement. This was caused by two problems, one of our sump pumps was broken, and the main waste line was not carrying water away from the house. My electrician happened to be at the house at the time, and he was able to replace my sump pump. I called Dave Riley, who I had already used once in the past, and explained the situation. When the water was discovered, I had less than 2 hours before I was supposed to leave for the airport. Dave was at my house less than an hour after I called. He determined that I had a blockage in the line between the house and the street. He was able to clear the blockage in a timely manner, and I was able to leave for vacation without any worries. Dave has an excellent reputation in the Granville area. I originally found out about his company via word of mouth from three different plumbers.

WE HAVEN'T RECEIVED A BILL YET. HE WAS PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM. WHEN I HAD CALLED ANOTHER PLUMBER, THEY TOLD ME HE WAS THE "BEST DRAIN MAN" IN TOWN. THAT'S WHY I CALLED. WORK DONE 2/10/05.
