TREE PRO INC

The removal itself went very well.  No damage to our newly seeded grass (I asked them to put down boards to minimize impact of foot traffic) and excellent clean-up.  Jeremy, the owner, is a great guy - very nice and straight forward.  His price was easily the lowest of three quotes I got.  However, he's not the most organized guy and he doesn't communicate as often as he should.  Once I agreed to have him do the work, it took three follow-up calls to get a date set for him to come out.  And then he failed to show - but did come the next day.  He said that all the recent storms (we have had a LOT of rain in the past two months) have kept him very busy and it's been tough to keep up. Net - great work, great price and really nice guy, but needs to be more punctual and responsive.

Jeremy came out, put the white star right at the top of the tree where it is prominent and easily seen from far away. Then he strung my several sets of blue led lights (led recommended or you will blow a fuse) around and around the tree from top to bottom. He connected everything to the power cord I had plugged in for it. And Voila! Let There Be LIght! The tall evergreen with blue lights and shining star is beautiful, a nice contrast from other displays, and can be seen from a block over at night. I am very happy with Jeremy's work and plan on using him again next year. My slight dissatisfaction is that Angie's List Cincinnati does not offer this category.

Jeremy responded the same day for my request for an estimate. He was very knowledgable about trees and stated that he didn't believe in removing trees that were still healthy. He said he would remove the trees that I was concerned about but would attach cables to the one out front and saw no need to have it taken down at this time. He and his crew came on the day he said they would and although they were tired from working late (8:00pm) the previous day, they were very professional about their work, worked carefully and steadily, did not do any damage to other tress and cleaned up the yard thoroughly. The Cedar and Locust tree stumps were cut close to the ground as I did not need to have them them chipped out. Jeremy showed me that he was insured before starting work. His estimate for work was competitive and that is what he charged. I believe I got lot of work for my money and will use him again. He also gave me advise on trees that would work for my yard if I wanted to plant more.

We received approximately 4 estimates. Tree Pro was least expensive by a few hundred dollars. They began work within a week or two. Very professional. Used proper personal safety equipment. Cleaned up immediately as they went from one tree to the next. After working in the large dead tree for an hour or so, Mr. Boswell determined that the upper part of the tree was more rotten than he originally thought. He had to bring in a hydraulic boom truck to remove upper most limbs and the entire trunk. He negotiated with neighbor to bring in through their yard, since we have no such access. Even though it cost him more to bring this tree down, he honored his original estimate. Just a good experience.

This went very well. Jeremy was responsive and fully explained the work that needed to be done with the large tree and even apologized for the cost which was significantly less ($600 less) than others. They showed up on schedule while I was traveling for work and I came home to zero damage to my lot - you couldn't tell they had brought in a crane and hauled the tree up the hill. I strongly recommend them. Jeremy is very knowledgeable about the trees in the area as well. Very pleased!!!
