"She and I (pat) had an agreement that I would do one part of the project at a time. We did that. What people are missing with this whole remodel thing is that when you make major changes like removing walls and creating look threws. These are very time consuming projects you have to build temp walls to support structure, and things like that. I have a schedule to keep and a lot of times when people start adding extras they are also adding time at the end of the project. she added items, so I ended up having to pull off the job to attend other jobs that were on the schedule. She knew about this and told me it was fine that the property was going to be a investment property for her to re-sale. Toward the end she liked the house so much she said she was going to move into it. Well along with this decision came the urgency to want to move in. This job would have taken my about 4 more days to finish. She got inpatient and called me one day that she knew I wasn't going to be there. Told me the job was taking to long and why wasn't I there. I told her almost the same thing I just wrote here. Then she told me she was going to find someone else to finish the job, not worry about it. She also still owes me 1,750.00 on the job and the tools that were left on the job. I think everybody should know that when you make big changes on jobs this adds a lot of time to the ending date on your project."
