Description of Work: Chuck built a custom home for us on our lot. We brought our primitive designs to his architect and worked through several renditions before we were completely satisfied. The timeline went exactly as Chuck had described to us. He worked with us on changes and made several suggestions that turned out to be perfect.

Description of Work: We have used this contractor several times - deck, garage, basement remodeling, shudder repair, closet repair, minor roof repair - over the past 10+ years. All work was started when Chuck Ware promised and was completed on time and at the quoted price. Each time we were completely satisfied with the results and price. in fact, we have yet to have had a problem or issue with any of his work. Even though we have been very pleased with hunter we have checked other contractors for bids in some cases and each time we found Hunter had the best price / performance for the project or repair. if we build another home and when we have need for home repair or remodeling Hunter custom Homes will be who we call.

Description of Work: Chuck Ware was recommended to us when we originally built our house by the architect. Chuck had great subs for each part of the project. He supervised and kept the project proceeding while insuring a quality product. We were very involved throughout the process and were very happy with the original construction without going through the horror stories you so often hear about. We received many complements from those who saw our house. A couple of years later, Chuck returned to build a detached garage/shed for us which also turned out great. Then we began thinking about how we would update the house and make it more open/modern. It was time to start replacing some applicances plus we had some ideas to make changes in the lay out of the first floor. We contacted Chuck to see if he would do the project. Because he came on board, we ended up doing more than we had originally thought because we felt comfortable with his work and knew we would be pleased with the end product. Again, Chuck hit a home run. Chuck 's years of experience in the custom home construction business has made him very knowledgable of the codes and how to proceed through the process of having each step of the contruction inspected and approved. He knows where to go to get the best suppliers which all adds up to a quality end result. Chuck is organized and very easy to work with and knowledgeable of the customers desires and if a mistake does happen, Chuck provides work around options. It is the job of the homeowner to do their homework when involved in a construction project but by having Chuck Ware involved makes the process so much easier to get the finished results the homeowner wants. We have no problem recommending Chuck Ware... the experience and end results will be will worth it!

Description of Work: Chuck Ware has built two houses for our family and he delivered well beyond our expectations both times.As our family grew we found we needed a storage barn built. Chuck recommended that we add on to an existing separate garage rather than building a separate storage barn. Chuck was able to add on to the garage in such a way that it blends perfectly with the existing structures and at a price well below what we would have spent for even a pre-built kit barn. Chuck saved us money and, based on his advice, we received a better solution to our needs. Chuck could have made more money had he just built a new barn for us but he worked with us to find the best and most cost effective solution. We recently needed some roof repair and were pleasantly surprised to find that he recently began to offer smaller remodeling and repair services. Chuck made some roof repairs for us after a storm and his repair work was outstanding.. He was on time, did what he said he would do and at the price he said he would do the work. Before we hired Chuck, we tried to have someone else do the work. This was a company that was in the neighborhood doing similar work. That company didn't show up and had quoted a higher price than Chuck. Luckily, we found out that Chuck was now offering repair services in addition to his home building and we had the repairs done quickly and cheaper that we expected. Shortly after the roof repair, we hired Chuck to repair some closet damage. His inside remodeling work was handled professionally and came in much less expensive than we would have expected for the quality of his work. We got custom builder skills and work product in a small remodel job. We couldn't have been happier. We highly recommend Chuck for any building, repair or remodeling needs.
