They charge you a bunch of money to come set a trap and that is about it. They are next to impossible to get in touch with, don't come out to re-bait. I am not even sure if they are still open as I have had the empty trap under my house for a couple years now. I hired a different company and they caught the opossums the first day after setting the trap.

This company is a waste of money. They never answer the phone or return messages. I had to start over with a different company. I do not know how they stay in business with such terrible customer service.

Was promised a report, video and solution. Collected payment and has been over three weeks. No report. Called many times, no answer. Very disappointing. Problem still persists.

Initially, it seemed to be fine. They set up traps and we caught a few critters. This is a rental property. Our renters told us they were hearing more noises. Advantage was contacted, they said they would be out to set marking tape, etc., but that didn't happen. Another call, another promise, and nothing appeared to have been done. We were going out of town for 2 weeks. A text was sent to us, saying not to worry, everything would be taken care of including the repair. Nothing was done 2 weeks later. More contact with more promises. We checked twice after our return to see if they had been to the house. Nothing was changed. We were told by our renter yesterday that they showed up to pick up a cage, which was't there, because it was never reset! We have contacted another company. TERRIBLE SERVICE!

I had a pretty big chipmunk problem with multiple burrows and tunnels
running through my flower beds. Advantage set 4 traps around the tunnel
entrances and removed 11 chipmunks. They were very prompt and thorough
but I felt the price was a little high. I might add that just 3 weeks
after the traps were removed I had a new infestation. During that time
several of my neighbors were also have problems with chipmunks so I was
not too surprised.

Apparently our house is on the Angies list of racoon hotels because for a period of time male raccoons kept showing up and moving in. Each time we had one Advantage was there to take care of it so quickly and with no fuss. Nobody wants to have to use this service but it is a necessity when you need it and I would give the business to these guys any time. I was really happy with the service they provided, but I am glad I have not seen them in a while. If you have an unwanted visitor in your house I would call these guys.

Over the 15 years that we have lived here, we have occasionally heard nighttime noises coming from the attic. We just usually chalked it up to mice. However, recently it was happening almost every night, it was much noisier, and my wife had had enough. I called Sure Thing Pest Control, as they had done a great job for me this fall with insect control. From my description, Sure Thing told me it sounded like squirrels, and they recommended that I call Advantage Wildlife Removal. I did, and I talked with Deborah Holt. We made an appointment, and Deb told me how much the assessment would cost, which was $159 + tax. Charles Holt came at the appointed time, and after a long chat about what we were experiencing, he got his ladder, and entered the attic crawl space. He took photos with his phone. After that, he got his extension ladder and proceeded to investigate the roof, eaves, and soffit vents to determine possible access points. After that, Charles came back in to tell and show us what he found. While in the attic, he saw several flying squirrels, and managed to take a photo of one of them. He also showed us photos of 8 or 9 possible access points. He then told us what it would cost to remove the squirrels and patch the holes. He was very upfront about this, so there were no surprises. He gave us a price for each squirrel trapped, and told us how much it would cost for patching the holes. He even offered to discuss what was needed with another contractor of our choice, if we wanted someone else to do the repair work. Charles set two live traps outside the most likely access holes, but he only caught one flying squirrel that way. We tried for well over a week to trap the other squirrels with live traps with no luck, so Charles set 12 other traps in the attic. He caught 3 more on each of two separate occasions, making a total of 7 flying squirrels caught in all. Once we had no more squirrels caught in the traps for about 3 days, he removed the traps, and declared that the attic was probably clear of more squirrels. It's now been a week, and I'm happy to report that there's been no more noise from the attic, and we are no longer being awakened in the night. We found Charles to be friendly, professional, honest, knowledgeable, and respectful of our house. Deb was a delight on the phone. If needed, we wouldn't hesitate to call on them again. Some have commented on this service being costly. Yes, maybe it is, but Charles was very forthright in discussing the costs, with the only unknown being that he didn't know how many squirrels we had. Plus, he made numerous trips to our house, crawling around in the attic to check and reset the traps. When doing the repair work, he was here for most of the day, and it appears he did a very good job.

While this service is somewhat pricey, it was worth it for my husband and myself, who did not want to deal with trapping wildlife ourselves. Advantage took care of everything and the groundhogs were trapped quickly and humanely. They came out to pick up the groundhogs and traps on time. After the groundhogs were gone, we hired them to animal-proof the lattice below our porch so that no new groundhog families could move in.

When I initially called, receptionist (name escapes me) was knowledgeable, reassuring and responsive. She scheduled Charles to come out to check a few days later. He did a thorough inspection, wrote up an estimate and explained everything to me clearly. My original inspection was August 6th. There is a and quot;close out periodand quot; until ~ August 15th where the bat valves can't be put on since there may be and quot;baby batsand quot; that can't fly.
As a mom of 2 small children, I became concerned about the possibility of another bat getting into the living portion of my house and hurting one of my children until we could remove them (specifically when I couldn't directly supervise them such as when they were sleeping.) When I called back to give the go ahead to complete the work, I tried to talk to them about my concerns. I considered them the experts on bats as my knowledge was limited to google. I felt they were hesitant to answer my questions for fear of a lawsuit. She kept repeating that she couldn't tell me what to do and to call my pediatrician for medical advice (I wanted to know what a bat bite looked like not what to do if my kids got bit). Although I recognize they couldn't give me advice on whether I should leave the residence, I felt they could tell me the facts about: 1) The likelihood of another bat entering the living quarters, 2) The percentage of bats with rabies, 3) How likely bats are to bite without being provoked, 4) What a bat bite looks like so I watch for it.
Jeff and another individual came out on August 15 to install the bat valves and seal up the cracks. The two men came on time and I was happy with the results. I asked about their return visit for removal and was told they would return in 7-14 days. I asked if someone would reinspect the attic before sealing the entry points and Jeff informed me that they didn't typically do this but would be happy to. I let him know that I wanted this done and he said someone would call to set up that appt. They returned today (August 28) while I was not home and removed the bat valves without calling to let me know someone was coming. I am disappointed that no one called so I could arrange for myself or someone else to be here so they could enter the house to reinspect. They also left a bill that was incorrect (did not deduct 1/2 the inspection fee). I called to discuss my disappointment in them not calling before sending someone out so I could arrange for someone to be here as well as the incorrect bill. I was expecting an apology and them to happily send someone out for reinspection as I had requested. She told me that she would fix the bill and call me back with the correct amount tomorrow after the serviceman returned with the paperwork. Ok no problem there. She reminded me of my warranty (2 year warranty that no bats will enter their repairs) and told me to call if I saw another one, day or night. She informed me that a visual re-inspection wasn't necessary and even if they came back out and reinspected and saw/heard nothing, that wasn't a 100% guarantee that there weren't any. I recognize they are quiet animals that hide and come/go. Since they were never able to visually see any bats since they were between the siding and inside wall (instead diagnosing based on a small amount of guano and the sound when they knocked on the wall), this made sense. You might not hear one. She tried to reassure me that they typically leave nightly so 13 days later, they should be gone. However to me, why wouldn't you do the same inspection you did to identify that I had bats before closing off their exit? At least, I would know that most if not all were gone and the service was successful. Furthermore, I requested this service as the paying client. It would have only added a few minutes to their service call if they had simply called me to let me know they were coming. They did not do that so I feel they should have corrected it by immediately offering to send someone out given that I spent a $1000 whether she thought it was necessary or not.
Overall I was happy with the service provided at my home but not the customer service when I called with questions or concerns. The price while expensive seemed in line with what I had found on the internet for bat removal. I didn't find a lot of providers that seemed to have experience with bat removal and wanted the bats out ASAP so I didn't try to get multiple quotes.

The guy who came out was very knowledgeable about squirrels and wildlife in general. He answered all my questions fully (eg - how do we know we're trapping the right ones? Because squirrels are very territorial and will not let another family of squirrels onto your roof.). I was satisfied with my experience.
I called them today because last summer/falll, we had a terrible problem with chipmunks undermining our paver patio/seating wall area, which has caused it to shift. While I haven't seen activity this year, I wanted to get the chipmunk problem under control before paying to have my patio fixed. The woman who answered the phone told me the current prices for set up and the cost per animal captured, which has gone up significantlysince I used them last. However, she gave me multiple tips for looking for current activity, advice on traps that could be purchased at the local hardware store, and suggestions for bait. She was not trying to needlessly get my business, and I appreciated that, enough to get on Angie's List and post a review.
I will use them again in the future if the need arises.

While the service people were very courteous and easy to deal with, the price was totally outrageous. The bird flashers would have cost $38, if I had purchased them myself. The company did patch the holes and attach the bird flasher (twice, since 2 fell off). I paid $467 for this job. I still feel ripped-off.

Heard the pitter patter of tiny squirrel parties above our heads for a few days. Looked in the attic and our eyes met-a squirrel caught red-pawed at the corner of our soffit. Saw evidence of their activity. Called Advantage after looking on Angie's list. They took care of the problem and patched up the soffits so it wouldn't happen again.
In the areas I rated them a and quot;Band quot; it was more like a B plus. The price for each individual animal removal call a little steep as it added up, but the rest of the rates were good. If you only have 1 or 2 squirrels it is a lot less cost but we needed to get them all. They 100% solved my problem so I was happy.

I spoke to a pleasant and courteous woman who, except for a Sunday morning when I left a message, answered the phone quickly and communicated well. Through her, I set up a meeting with the representative who was to do the work. This man was prompt, courteous, and provided adequate education about the process. I agreed to the terms, signed the paperwork. gave them my credit card information, and he set the traps. I decided to check the traps daily (roughly 25 miles away) to avoid paying them to do so (about $45/day). Over the 7 day period, we caught 1 opossum. Then, the company representative loosely taped over, with an X, the hole that raccoons had forced into the soffit. Once the opossum had been captured and removed, the tape remained undisturbed and I no longer heard dancing feet scurrying about the attic. At the end of the 7-day period, without my being present, the access hole was satisfactorily repaired and sealed according to the agreement. My credit card bill has not come in yet but, unless I follow this up with further information, I am assuming the charges will be, as was everything else, according to agreements signed and services rendered.
I am a satisfied customer. Considering that I'm too old to get the job done myself, I thought the charges were fair. I would hire them again without hesitation.
(Note - below, the and quot;Home Build Yearand quot; is totally irrelevant as there is no Home. So, I set it to 1990 to keep the database happy)

I hadn't had sleep for weeks because of these animals. AWR is really good--they really know what they're doing. They trapped 4 animals within a 3 week timeframe. They are very friendly people and explain everything. I had questions and was able to call them back and get answers, and they were very patient in addressing my concerns. I really like that in a company.

I was very unhappy with them. They told me that they had come out and reset the traps and they had not been reset. I wasn't there so I couldn't see. They told me that they had taped where the hole was and there was no tape. I called and talked to Debbie. She was very nice. He came out the next day. They finally got the problem taken care of but I wasn't happy. I had to make all the phone calls to them and they never checked anything with me. The original visit was $179 and then another $279 to close it up. They were very professional when I talked to them. I would not use them again.

Their service was very good. They came out and put traps for the raccoons. They charged us $159 for traps and $60 for each animal that was removed. They caught six raccoons, and it was worth it. I called and spoke to Debbie, she explained what the price would be. They have had an animal technician come out and he looked around where the entry points could be and the best place to put the trap. They bait the trap and put it up there and I had to call them when there was an animal in there. They come and get it usually within the 24 hours. At one point it was almost 24 hours before they came and it was hot and they had to take it away. In the state of Kentucky you either have to sterilize them or release it 30 miles away from were you live because they will come back. They are well informed they knew what they were dealing with and the best way to approach it. It would have been cheaper for me to put my own traps up, but then I wouldn't have known what to do with it. Honestly, when the people came out to the house sometimes I wasn't impressed with. I guess they have only few people to work with and other customers need traps, but sometimes it was too long for me. I am an animal lover, we had an animal that died which was trapped for so long and we were waiting for them to get it picked up, that was not good. That was only one time. There was another one which kept crying the whole night in the roof. I have no idea about the price, I have not compared. They were local and there were only couple of things on Angie's list. There was one other place which I called, but he didn't sound very professional, so I went with this person. Their appearance from the phone call was much more professional. They also do clean up afterwards and I didn't have to do it. She was also very good with advice, she told me what to do, how to handle things afterwards and stuff like that.

I thought they were initially prompt and thorough but I felt in the end they were over priced and they were not truthful. They told me they were going to do certain services and did not. When I asked them about it they basically lied . When I called them about it they refused to come out any further. I was very dissatisfied with the service. In the end they said they reset the traps but I went out to look and they weren't set or rebated. They didn't come out promptly when I asked them too. When I asked them to service access holes under the house and they refused, even when I offered to provided materials. It started out okay but then they dropped the ball. It was $160 to come out and evaluate and set traps then $50-$60 for the animal they trap.

They are coming in and out in the attic especially when it's cold. They are fast talking people. He did not do what I asked them to do. They put traps in there and we waited to see what would happen which was nothing. I did not like the guy, nothing personal. This guy totally failed in his approach. I won't call him back.

We heard animal noises in the attic above our bedroom. I thought it was a squirrel or raccoon. He discovered evidence of field mice in the attic but no evidence of a larger animal. He said that our house we built extremely well and that it was well sealed against squirrels and raccoons. He did not have the poison for mice but gave me the web site to order it. It arrived quickly and we tossed them around in the attic as he directed. We haven't had a problem since and it has been over a year.
