Actually showed me several spots in the ash tree where Emerald bore Beatles were killing it. He gave me a quote for only removing the dead part and then he gave me a quote for removing the whole tree. They were very professional they did it right away. There was not even a leaf left in my yard when they were done I mean they chopped it up they took it away and they left my yard looking beautiful. They ground the stump down as well, I would highly recommend them. Nice people!

They were canvassing the neighborhood, we negotiated a price for the work that needed to be done. I had an appointment that I was having to get to very soon and told them they had to be prompt in getting started, which they did. Unfortunately I had to leave the house and made the decision to pay them before I left. I returned and they did not grind out one of the stumps. I attempted to contact them with several calls and voicemails to come back and complete the work. There was no response back and I still have a stump in the front yard that I will have to take out. The only reason I did not give them an "F" is because the work they did do was good work.

Did not return my call the first time that I called. I called again the next day and they returned my call very shortly. They actually came out to our house right after the phone call to give an estimate. They gave the estimate. We accepted it, and they were able to do the work right then. They did a good job, were very polite, and did a very good clean up afterwards.

On both occasions they were prompt, rofessional, and polite. They cut and stacked the wood to our requests. They brought a team each time so the work was done and cleaned up in a very reasonable time. Absolutely no cleanup work was left for us. I will use them again!

They were fantastic. The tree is in perk condition they took all the lower branches off and this year they must have gotten a million brand new pine cones on it, it's in great condition. If I had any more trees I'd use them again. The price was reasonable compared to other people we talked to.

These guys were great! They cleared out a lot of dead branches, even one that was hanging dangerously over my house. And the hedges they trimmed look very nice. Will definitely hire again.

Very good! Guys we're Friendly and talented. Knowledgeable on all sorts of yard needs. Cleaned up every twig! Stumps were ground down low so no lawn mowers will catch! Very happy and will have them back when trees need pruning again. They even do mulching if needed!

They did what they said they were going to do. One of the tress was on the boarder, almost in our neighbor?s yard. They were very concerned that they didn?t damage their yard or leave their yard messy. We couldn?t even tell that they were there when they left.

They got every leaf, every twig, it was all gone and they stacked up the wood that they cut for us. So, we appreciated that, but they understood that we were more concerned about the neighbor?s yard than our yard. They were very prompt, very clean and very professional. We have 2 more trees that need to come down next year, so we are calling them.

They arrived and we walked through the quote. I approved for them to move forward, they started the work at immediately. We had toys in the yard they offered to pick them up and put them away for us. They cut down the tree and ground on the stump there was very little shavings left in the yard. They also ground down other stumps and clean that area up as well. They removed the bushes in the front yard and graded the dirt to make it look nice. I would hire these folks again in a heartbeat. They worked very hard and efficiently to complete the job.

Crew of 3 worked for about an hour and a half and did a good job. shape was good. they did a good job with cleanup and haul away. Hard working crew. I would use them again.

They were in the neighborhood doing another job and came to the door to ask if I had any work.  We negotiated a good price and they were there in about an hour and did the job quickly and cleaned up well.  I was so glad to have the work done so easily and quickly.

They were terrific.  The overgrowth and weeds were a mess, but they didn't bat an eye or make us feel bad about the condition of the yard.  Not only did they do all the work we requested, but they went above and beyond in clearing up additional areas around the house.  They are very hard workers who care about the quality of their work.  Before leaving for the day, they double checked with us to make sure that we were happy with the job.  Darren and his crew were professional, diligent, and very kind.  We will definitely hire them again.

I called BB on a Monday and Tuesday morning they arrived to look at what I wanted done and gave me a quote.  I made a counter offer, which they accepted, and they began work immediately.  They worked quickly and efficiently and finished by early afternoon.  Their work was exactly what I had envisioned and greatly improved the look of our landscaping.  Cleanup was very thorough - they even took away two large piles of tree limbs that I had cut the previous weekend without any extra charge.  The reason that I gave them an overall "B" on professionalism was because after starting work, one of the workers took off his shirt and revealed a significant portion of his butt.  He continued working for some time in this mode until I brought is to the attention of his boss, who quickly fixed the issue.

I am very happy with the results and would, and probably will, use them again in the future.

Doorbell rang late Sunday morning.  I wasn't expecting anyone.   The company representative stated they were working in the area and were providing landscaping services.  He asked if we would want a free estimate.    His initial estimate for the above services was $550, but stated he would do it for $500.   We declined the offer and he immediately came down to $350.   We countered with $300 and ended up negotiating at $325.    The flier they provided me looks like something printed from a local desktop printer, (not very professional).   One of the contact names appears erased off and a different name handwritten in.   He made a point to state that they were on Angie's List.   I did check Angie's List and overall marks sounded favorable.   NOTE: the flier indicates the company is insured and bonded, but Angie's list reflects that the business is not required to be licensed.  

We did go ahead with the work, since it was more basic landscaping.  They completed the work fairly quickly.   The front did need trimmed up.   The thinning of the pear tree is okay, but was "quick" work.   Bushes were trimmed up decently, but there were branches and such laying around.  He did ask to borrow a rake, because the other part of his team were down the street and he did not have one handy.   Clean-up was fine.    I had originally written a check out for "Eager Beaver Tree Service", but they asked me to make it out to "Darren Graham" which I did. 

There are things about this business that affect its credibility.   I have noted a couple items already.  Do check the company before you do anything major.   I found that the company web site associated with "Eager Beaver Tree Service" on Angie's List is NOT the Ohio business.  In fact, the link is for a different company located in Alabama, including contact information.  The BBB link on Angie's List also directs to  different company name, "Affordable Tree Service", and address, but the contact phone number and owner's name match.  BBB posts an "Alert" on the company, but does not specify what it is.  For these reasons toward credibility, I cited lower on the professionalism.
