I took my vehicle in for an oil leak. Jenkins performed an inspection on the vehicle, cleaned the engine, replaced a bad seal and changed the oil. Very trustworthy mechanic!

I have been using Jenkins Automotive for the past 8 years. I have always found them to be fair and honest. There is usually a wait to get my car/truck in but the professionalism is worth it. It is tough to find honest mechanics when you are at their mercy, but my family and my wife's all use this same garage. I believe there are three mechanics. Two being the originals who started it. I wished they were still located in Vandalia, but I am more than happy to drive (or tow sometimes) the 25 minutes to New Carlisle.

The people were friendly, the service was great, and the quality of work was excellent. They even told me that the ignition control chip was going bad, but that it costs nearly $300 just for the part and they did not think it would be worth fixing for the age of the truck. I thought that was very honest of them to tell me what the problem was, and also tell me that they did not think it was necessary to repair at this time. It is about a 20 minute drive to Jenkins from my house, but in the future I will be taking all my cars to them for any auto work that I need done, it is well worth the drive.
