He gave us the price of a new furnace. We asked how much more it would cost to get a higher efficiency furnace that would also give us a Federal tax write off. When he gave us the price, we agreed to the higher efficiency unit. After it was installed and we had paid him, we asked for the paper work. He had to go back to his vehicle to get it, handed it to us in a hurry and said "I have to go, my blood sugar is dropping." We offered him some juice and he said no, he had something in his truck. After we examined the paper work and the serial code for the new furnace, we discovered it did not qualify for the Federal tax write off as the efficiency level was not high enough. We contacted Gary and my husband asked to meet him for lunch to discuss this. He agreed, but never called back to confirm. We then tried repeatedly to call him with no response. My husband had a trip to take. While he was gone, I spoke to Gary. (Felt he only answered the phone because he did not recognize my phone number. He said the furnace did qualify for the write off and he would get me all the information. Again, heard nothing. When my husband came back, he finally talked to Gary. He disagreed with the initial agreement and refused to rectify and give us the furnace we paid for. Now, 5 months later, we tried to turn on the furnace to heat our home and it does not work!!! Again, we have been calling Gary, leaving messages and even messaged him on his Facebook account. So far no response. DO NOT USE HIS "SERVICES"!!!
