Child Care - Center
We enrolled at Tutor Time in January of this year and were right away impressed with the friendly staff! My daughter began in the Prepper classroom for 2 1/2 - 3 year olds. She was not potty trained and her verbal skills were behind. Within weeks we noticed a huge difference! Her teacher does a great job helping to potty train as well as working with her on her social and language skills.
Also, they have been very flexible if we need to change her schedule to drop off earlier or pick up later.

Child Care - Center
The center changed the schedule of fees in January. We know
a few families who were enrolled in February-March using the lower rates. It’s
a responsibility of a child care center to notify parents with the reasonable
notice. They have to follow state specific required time frames on tuition and
modification notices.
The center presented us with only TWO, not several options.
The statement “excellent care” couldn’t be further from
truth. This is the ONLY child care center in New Albany which had FOUR
complaints since the last year.

They wouldn’t even remove the carpet covered in mold from
the toddler room before someone (thank you) complained about it to ODJFS.
They couldn’t care less about our children.

The center has a very rotten management.
Our son was enrolled since October 2013. In January 2014 they changed schedule of fees to the lower rates (close to 50% down in our program). But they never notified us about the change, although they required to do so by the enrollment agreement. We were continuing to pay a higher rate until May 2014, then we asked about the new schedule of fees and were shocked to find out about the new rates.First, the owner said it was a mistake, then after a few weeks, the district manager for Tutor time said it was a promotion. But it was clearly stated on a sheet: Schedule of Fees: 2014-2015. So, they couldn't stop lying. And they offered us to options:
1. A credit for the full time enrollment, which we are not interested in, because our son was enrolled with a part time schedule.
2. No credit at all, but a part time enrollment with the current low rates. This one is not acceptable at all, considering that we were
entitled for the lower fees since January.
The center is under investigation at this moment by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.
I can't believe we have ever trusted our son to Tutor time. If they lying to us about the rates, what else they are lying about: menu,
curriculum,..........?

Response from Tutor Time
"We are very sorry that we could not come to an agreement. As discussed, those rates are not correct and would not have been in effect until the fall (2014-2015 school year). Our rates in January (and our current rates) are the same as they were in October when you started. As a good gesture in customer service, we presented you with several options, including the two you have listed, all of which you denied. We are not under any type of investigation by ODJFS, as they have reviewed your complaint and found that Tutor Time is in compliance with all standards of quality service to our clients. Tutor Time strives to provide excellent care for the children and families we serve. Although we tried to make you happy, we are truly sorry that we could not come to a mutual understanding."

Child Care - Center
We started our daughter in the Toddler class in October, 2013 and have had a very positive experience! It was her first time in child care and prior she was VERY attached to me. The teachers were excellent at helping her transition into their classroom and made her feel safe and loved. At first she cried at drop off, but when I would call and check on her an hour later she was always fine. It didn't take long for her to run into her classroom at drop-off and start playing as soon as she got there. The teachers and administrators not only made her feel at ease, but also made me feel comfortable and confident that she is in good hands throughout the day.
I get a feeling of security and family at Tutor Time. After looking at other centers and price shopping I quickly discovered that you get what you pay for. Tutor Time is clean, friendly, and actually focused on the education of their children. When we started our daughter didn't really talk, but after a few weeks she started talking, a lot. She has learned so much so quickly!
I am thankful that we chose Tutor Time to provide care for our daughter!

Child Care - Center
All day, every day for about a week I went to different child care centers and most of them were nice but once I toured Tutor Time Learning Center of Gahanna I knew immediately that I wanted my daughter to go there. This is my daughters first time in child care so I was kind of nervous, but this school has great communication. The school is very clean and they are very well organized. My daughter is in the Prepper class and Ms. Samantha is great, she cried in the mornings the first week I dropped her off, but every afternoon when I went to pick her up she was having a great time and sometimes wasn’t ready to leave. I love the staff. My daughter has interacted with some of the other teachers there and she loves them as well. You can tell they truly enjoy working with children at this center, it’s obvious in the way they interact with them. I am glad I didn’t go with the first school I liked I found one that I loved.

We pay weekly. The director is really great to work with. The director has been consistent from the beginning. The kids like it there.
