The counter top installation was precisely on schedule as we were told. The installation of the counter tops were professionally done. They did a fabulous job!!   When we had questions  they were right there to answer our questions. Very knowledgeable, honest  and dependable.  They went out of their way with helping us with our decision on the right  counter top. We brought home many samples and kept them until we felt comfortable with what we were looking for. We would highly recommend this place for all your kitchen and bathroom remodeling needs. Very satisfied customers!  Our kitchen is beautiful and we love our Quartz counter tops made by Cambria. We are so thankful that we went to  Karshners Sales and Service, 735 Slocum Street, Lancaster, Ohio  for our needs. Scott and Cindy  took over this business 10 years ago and are doing a terrific job.

Such great people!  CLEAN and thorough - did all that was asked and this makes two homes they have done the kitchens and baths - just super people who make sure you are 100% satisfied before they leave.  I just can't say enough about their superb work ethics and communications which are superb.  Karshners (Scott and Cindi Noble) do superb work and are great to work with - I would recommend them to anyone!  GREAT!!!!!!

All went extremely well. John went above and beyond original plan while keeping original estimate amount to create a beautiful, finished living space in our basement. John consulted with us frequently, providing both updates and suggesting improvements not listed in original estimate. Previous to this job, we have contracted with John to refurbish two bathrooms, work in kitchen, electrical lighting fixtures, and painting. He is very professional, punctual, competent, talented, and friendly. We highly recommend John and his company. We plan to have John return for more remodeling work to our house in the future.

John did a great job on our bathroom paint job.  He was very professional and helpful with his interior upgrading ideas.

John spent three days, the first preparing, second day he cut in all of the corners, trim etc., finished the kitchen (which was a second color from the other), and did the first coat on all the walls. The last day he finished rolling the walls, CAREFULLY touched up an minor problem, cleaned the area and finished about 4 PM. He told us he would be there 8:30 each morning and he was always on time.

John was recommended by my realtor.  He was very meticulous and was able to give helpful advice on future remodeling projects.  He really treated my house like it was his own.  Very fair on price.  He did such a beautiful job on the painting and he has a good eye for design. I will definitely use him again.  He also returns calls and shows up on time which is a big deal to me.

John came out the next day and got the place all finished the same day.  He is very nice and trustworthy!

Our family room was over thirty years old with dark paneling on the walls. We wanted to brighten up the room, but were always hesitant to tear the paneling out because of not knowing what was behind the paneling. A friend gave us the company name of Fresh Look Design. We called the owner, John Aukerman, to give us an estimate. When John looked at our situation he immediately put us at ease saying he was almost positive there was drywall behind the paneling. John then gave us what we thought was a fair estimate and we signed a contract for him to do the work. John, along with one helper, carefully removed all baseboards and trim, then removed the paneling. They patched any drywall that needed it, then sanded, primed, and painted all the walls and the ceiling. They then reinstalled the baseboards, trim, new switch plates, etc. The baseboards and trim were then refinished. What really impressed us about the work was that as they progressed with the job John would make a suggestion as to what might look better overall. He did little things along the way that we hadn't thought of. He treated this job as if he were working on his own house.
John is a one man operation, along with one helper, and John is always on the job. They were on time every day, did an excellent job at a fair price, cleaned up after, and finished the job on time. Completely satisfied. Fresh Look Design will be the company we call for our next job.
