They were a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process. We worked with Brian and he was friendly, helpful, and always prompt with his replies, answering all the questions we had. They first came out to the house to inspect the damage and see if they could help us and what could be done. They found evidence of the wind damage and helped us through the claims process with our insurance company. They actually came out when the adjuster came to check out the house and made sure to show her everything that was damaged including gutters and even a section of siding on our garage that we never would have thought to mention. The adjuster was pleasantly surprised with the help they gave during her inspection and she was also wonderful, helping us get as much as possible for the damage. Unfortunately the second story roof was so old that the insurance company would not pay for it's replacement. They were very old organic shingles. But the first story roof was newer and the insurance company did pay for that entire replaced roof and for the siding also. I'm sure they would not have paid for so much of the damage without the help of Ohio Restoration. We were given a choice for our shingle style and colors and they helped us pick the best choice for our home. For the siding they matched our existing siding perfectly. All of the work was done by professionals. The contractors were friendly and competent, letting us know how the job was going and what would happen next each step of the way. We did have one hiccup during the roof replacement. I was expecting every part of the roof to be replaced and there was one section of roof that was previously covered with rubber roofing and was not included in the original scope of work. When I found out that it was not going to be replaced with shingles as the rest of the roof was I talked to Brian about it. He was able to get that small section of roofing added in at the last minute for us and really went the extra mile. He made sure the existing rubber was removed properly so as not to damage the plywood underneath and he was even able to do that with no additional cost to us. Now my entire roof is all one kind of shingle and looks great! Once the roof was completed another contractor came in to do the siding replacement. There were a couple of weeks in between the roof being finished and the siding contractor coming. He was quick and did a great job too. Our house looks great and because of the insurance help we paid for less than half of the repairs. The total cost was $7406.98 including the insurance payment. Brian came out and checked over all the work afterwards and picked up the final payment, then we were given lifetime warranties for both the roof and the siding. We are very happy with the work Ohio Restoration Solutions did for us and will use them again in the future. By the way, I gave them a B on punctuality because there were a few times the contractors didn't show up to work but it was always due to weather, which is expected here in Ohio. The only reason I gave them a B for it is because there were two times that they didn't call to let us know that they wouldn't be working that day. But it was pretty obvious why when I looked outside and saw the rain so that didn't really bother me. Also because of the time between the roof work and the siding work. Other than that everything ran smooth and we are very happy with everything. Our house looks wonderful!

Everything from the time I met Amanda until the time my roof went on went great! Amanda was extremely friendly, prompt, dependable, and thorough. I was referred to Amanda by neighbor Jim Bush and he said she was amazing and I couldn't agree more.
She made sure I was happy at every step of the way and she always made sure that I understood what was going on.
I cannot say enough about Ohio Restoration and Amanda Harriss. I will refer them to everyone I know that needs a roof or siding.

I wish that I could say that I was over this experience after almost two years but I am not. We had water coming into our home because the roof did not have ice guard/flashing which is now code. Most of the damage was in the kitchen. I called Biltmore for an estimate and Amanda, a project manager, came out a couple of days later. Having never had a home insurance claim before I thought that I could trust and believe the things that we were told needed repaired, who would make the repairs and how long it would take. So I agreed for them to make the repairs. On Saturday, March 2, 2011 a crew came and started to tear out the water damaged areas of my kitchen and back room. The tear out was authorized by the insurance company so that it could begin to dry out and not develop mold. Along with the tear out of the water damaged walls and ceiling, my stove was disconnected, some of the cabinets were removed and the tile on the floor was taken up, leaving exposed walls and floor. My thoughts were that and quot;this was moving fastand quot; and that the project manager's verbal estimate that the repairs would only take a couple of weeks was right on target. Boy was I wrong.
I could go into all of the details but that would only get me upset again so I will give you the condensed version. Long story short is that I needed to have drywall, cabinets, countertops and floor replaced in my kitchen (everything was removed and damaged/destroyed during the tear out), drywall replaced in my back room and roof repairs so that this would never happen again. While I was willing to take time off of work in order to get the repairs done in a couple of weeks my project manager wouldn't hear of it and most everything was done in the evenings, after the workers had already put in a full days work somewhere else. My project was not given the priority that it deserved and it took 36 weeks for all of the repairs to be completed. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone.

Every time that you call them, they call you right back. They had their guys on my roof when it was raining and very windy to tarp my roof. They went around after they took the tarp off, and checked my whole roof, not just where the leak was. They always clean up. They always return phone calls and when I called them, they were out within the hour. One of the guys even helped me move my furniture out of the way so it did not become damaged. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a roofer.
