This company is great! The workers came out and were all happy and very knowledgeable! The owner had ran the estimate rather quickly (same day I called) and was very informational on how the entire process would work and they did A plus work for a very fair price

The job was handled while we were gone for the weekend. When we arrived home I checked it out and it was done to the exact way that was discussed prior. The job was done professionally and the site was cleaned up very well. Also the back part of the same patio was raised up to allow water to fall toward the backyard and off the patio. Overall we are very pleased with the results and would recommend Slab Masters of Ohio to anyone who might be in need of concrete leveling.

Went very well. Arrived promptly, worked diligently, completed entire job in one visit. Concrete was leveled very well. The one problem we had was that we had a lot of cracks to begin with. Those did not get better, as was explained to us prior to the job. We are planning to patch those with sealant/filler ourselves. Very satisfied with the concrete leveling work.

Excellent crew! Worked hard and efficiently to raise and level several areas of my driveway and front and rear walkways......fixed some cracks in the driveway that were really bad... They raised several areas 2 to 3" to get water running away from the house again.....Nice job of cleaning up after themselves too. Would definitely use again....as a matter of fact, one of our neighbors hired them to do work for them after seeing the work they had done for us!

They were prompt, extremely clean and professional. The worked really hard and it was great.

Work was performed fine, clean up was perfect too. I have zero complaints. Also came back a week later to do some touch ups by my side door. I had to remove some old tar build up from over the years. He wanted to take it up a little higher. It has rained really hard once, water flows perfectly away from the house. No water in my basement.

I contacted Ken for an estimate after I had gotten another estimate that I thought was rather high. Slab Masters was $1,000 less than the first estimate I received. I wanted to make sure that the cracks in my driveway would be sealed after it was leveled. Ken told me I could do the sealing myself to save money (he even told me what product to use) or they would be happy to do the sealing for me. I opted to have Slab Masters do the entire job. I was told it would be three weeks before they could get to my job. It was exactly three weeks when the came out to do the job.



I was very pleased with the leveling of the concrete. I could actually drive straight into my garage without having to climb up over the edge of the garage. No more tripping hazards. I was told they would be back within a week to seal the cracks and they came back exactly when they said they would. John and the crew that did the leveling were very friendly, professional and eager to please.



I would recommend Slab Masters. Very nice job.

To make a long story short, Ken's friendly crew showed up within the week and completely repaired my driveway. My wife is always nervous about having people come to our house that we don't know especially contractors we don't know. I can tell you that they did an excellent job. Very professional work. We are delighted with the job they did.. Many of the concrete leveling jobs I've seen leave large holes in the driveway. Not so with Slab Masters. You can't even tell they were there. They also did a nice job cleaning up. I've ever written a review of a company before. But I must tell you that I was so impressed that I actually sat down to write this note. Finding good people who do quality work is difficult. They're almost nonexistent these days. Ken and his crew are some of the best. I would highly recommend them. I contacted this contractor and another one with good Angie's List ratings. The other guy's estimate was almost double, but included a 10-year warranty versus 18-months for Slab Masters. I decided to go the less expensive route, figuring my issues were not particularly bad. Also Slab Masters seemed anxious for the work and said they could fit it in within two weeks, essentially at the end of the season. I felt that their professionalism was somewhat lacking as they did not call ahead to say when they would be doing my work; instead they just showed up late one afternoon and started working. I was outside doing yard work. Three of them did the work, including the owner, Ken. The equipment and workers were pretty shabby looking, which may be expected considering the work they do, but I think they could improve. As for the work, Ken drilled the holes and led the effort. He was very efficient and when a problem arose, he knew immediately what to do. The slabs were not rising initially, so he used hand-held concrete saw to free the slabs at the construction joint. It worked just fine. The finished job is pretty satisfactory, though I think the slabs by the garage should have been raised just a bit more to be fully level with the adjacent slabs. I'm sure my snowblower won't notice, which was the main objective of this fix. A fair amount of residual grout leaked out onto the street where the truck and mixer were located. They made some effort to wash the material away with a hose, but there is still material along the curb a month later. Perhaps most disappointing is that neither contractor offered service to fill the big cracks in the construction joints in my driveway. They said that I could do that myself with materials from Home Depot. Ken said that he would contact me with the name of one of his guys that could do it for me, but that never happened. As an aside, I was able to do the work myself with materials from Home Depot, but it took the better part of a day and I made some mistakes.

My experience with them was great. They came out when they said they would come out for the estimate. They came out to do the work once we hired them as promised. They did the work with the estimated cost. When we had a question about something else in the job that we thought maybe another piece of concrete maybe needed leveled by the garage and they came right out to take a look. They took care of everything we asked for. They were very prompt and courteous. They are very professional like a company should be. We recommended them to other people.

I wasn't there when Ken did his work. When he was done he called me to tell me the water wouldn't shut off. I wasn't able to get there fast so he found a nozzle in his truck and used it on the hose so the water wouldn't keep running. How wonderful of him to be so concerned and to do a quick fix. I just bought the house and I am in the process of having some projects done before I can move in. His work is impeccable. I didn't realize he was going to do as much as he did. He went above and overboard to make sure everything was done properly. Describe him? Kind, caring, extremely efficient, and very reasonable in cost. Will recommend him to everyone.
