We live in a 65 year old home that has plaster walls in need of major repair.  We contacted Rich Farley & scheduled for him to come to our home to give us an estimate.  He was there within two days & arrived at the time he said he would arrive.  He said he could return with his crew within a few days to begin the repair work on the plaster.  Again, they showed up promptly at the scheduled time, repaired the walls, & left no mess behind.  We scheduled them to come back one week later (at our request) to texture the walls which they did.  I cannot stress enough how pleased my husband & I were with their work.  They were punctual, honest & fair with the price, friendly, & most importantly, Rich & his crew were meticulous with their work.  We have recommended them to several friends & family members who have also utilized their services, were very pleased, & plan to use them again as well.  We plan to have them back to repair & texture the walls in several other rooms of our home.

My husband and I took on the major task of completely gutting and renovating a 1850's farm house.  We full well knew that we could do many things on our own, however, drywall is nothing that we wanted to attempt.  We originally hired Rich to hang and finish the drywall throughout the entire 3,000 sq ft house. His estimate was great, his professionalism was wonderful and we felt very comfortable with him working in our home while we were away at work.  In the process of renovating, a storm blew a very large tree on the majority of our home, creating even more work that needed to be done. And, to beat it all, I was 8 months pregnant at the time. Rich was very flexible in working around the tree crisis and being sensitive to the changes in our family structure as well. Rich had the majority of our home completed and ready for paint in less than 1 month. The remaining portions, were still under repair from the tree so those had to be done at a later time. Rich was always there when he said he would be, he was always very straight forward about changes that needed to be done and decisions he felt would be in our best interest. At a later time, we hired Rich to complete the drywall in the rest of the house as well as paint those areas. He helped in picking colors as well as making suggestions for type of paint etc. Rich is not only a drywaller and painter to our family but a part of it. My husband and I would never trust anyone else to do the work in our house except for Rich.

Made last-minute call; agreed to work us into his busy schedule.  Prepped the area, taping off areas, moving appliances, etc. Did excellent work and made sure the work area was clean before leaving.  Had us check his work before leaving, and made a follow-up call a few days later. Rich was very courteous, punctual, and did everything that was asked of him. He was willing to negotiate his price and to do extra little detail work upon request. Have hade severa lreferrals to others and will definitely use him exclusively for such work in the future!!

When starting a project like I have, take the time and ask a professional to look at the job.  Rich saved me a ton of money by showing me how to take off the really old nasty wallpaper...and do it so that it was fairly quick and easy (don't spend a bunch of money on all the removal junk available at the hardware stores!).  We used regular old vinager and warm water, I mixed it at about 70/30 and put it in a cheap gallon sprayer.  Rich told me to dampen/sprat the paper for a couple of days and it would just peel off...and he was right!  Then he had me scuff all of the trim so that the paint would stick better....by helping do some of the grunt work that I didn't mind doing, it really saved on the labor costs.

I was able to trust him in my house and that was a big factor for me. His quality of work was excellent.  I am going to use him again in the future.
