Upholstering - Boat & Auto
Contacted the company on 8/11/2014 re: replacing the headliner in my VW Jetta. Was advised I would have to bring the car in so they could match the upholstery color. Took the car in the same day ( approx. 12 mi.). The owner brought out a sample board and picked out the closest matching color, advised he would order it, and it should be in in several days.
Didn't hear from them till 8/26/2014. Scheduled the job for the following day. Had my wife follow me and dropped the car off that morning. Within an hour of returning home, I got a call telling me they received the wrong material and it would have to be re-ordered. Went back and retrieved the vehicle.
Got a call on 9/7/2014 that the correct material was in, and to bring the vehicle back
on Friday 9/7/2014 in the morning, and the install should be finished that afternoon. Was called at 5:30 that evening stating that it was not complete, and they would call when it was ready. Got a call about 9:30 Sat morning that vehicle was finished...they delivered it to my home. Headliner color matched well.....(light gray), some dirt smudges and some wrinkles. Later that day I discovered that the power roof no longer worked.......I disassembled myself and found a wiring harness they forgot to plug back in.

Generally unorganized....work not completed as promised, and marginal workmanship.
