I contacted Denham's Tree Service in late 2012 to get a quote on four trees at my house that desperately needed help. Shawn responded to my phone message quickly, and arranged to come over and look at the trees to give me his recommendations and a quote that weekend. He's a certified arborist, and provided paperwork to prove it. He also provided all of his insurance info. It was obvious that he knows trees! He checked out the trees thoroughly and went over different options with me in detail, and was very patient with all my questions. I had his quote in just a couple days, and after talking with another company and not being as impressed, I decided to give him the ok to work on my trees. One thing to keep in mind is that he is on call for FEMA contracts, so should a catastrophic event take place it may delay your job. He did share this information with me at the time of the quote, so I wasn't surprised that things got delayed when hurricane Sandy hit! He was great at communicating updates on the time frame of my work while he was away in New York though. In fact, good communication was consistent throughout the duration of my job. That's a big plus. Then I was even more impressed when they came and did the work on my trees...I had three large maple trees that needed maintenance, and one very large sycamore that was planted too close to the house and needed removed. Shawn and his crew did an absolutely fantastic job on all four trees, I couldn't be happier with their work! I'll definitely contact Denham's Tree Service in the future when work needs done on my trees, and have already recommended them to friends and neighbors.
