Drain Patrol was quick to respond via email/text and fit me in the next day (and showed up on time). It was quickly determined that the drain from street to the house was clogged by tree roots and other gunk (a common problem in areas with old homes), and he was friendly and professional about getting it fixed. Unfortunately, when I went to clean it up after he left, it had backed up behind the main drain (in the other direction) and wasn't flushing the way he expected it to after clearing the street line. I was surprised and grateful that he came right back, even though the sun had already set, and took care of things. (I expected to be told I would have to wait another day). He gave me good maintenance advice as well. I would definitely call him again.

Drain Patrol answered every question and provided advice on how to clean the drain (which started as PVC and dumped into flexible corrugated pipe) in order to minimize the chance of a rupture. Other plumbers either didn't have the right equipment or didn't think through how to address my unique circumstances. They showed up on time and and did a great job. Provided a six month warranty on their work,, which is rare for this type of job.

I was satisfied with Dons service on his first visit ,had a clog in the drain that was cleared within 5 minutes .instead of running the snake deeper thru the drain he was satisfied that it was clear with only a one month warranty on his work. Less than two months later the same drain was clogged ,thinking Don would take some ownership in his previous work I called him up and asked him to comeback and clear the drain. Again within five minutes it was cleared again and he seemed to at least run the snake in another five minutes. I felt another 150.00 was unfair and he said that was the going rate. I will not do business with him again based on not clearing the drain properly the first time , It's obvious if it was cleared it would not clog from light use in less then 2 months.

"(Member name removed), I am very sorry to hear you had an unpleasant experience with us. I try my best to resolve your plumbing issues effectively, and I care about what I do. I have pulled your original invoice to review it. I think all the FACTS should be stated if you want to give a bad review. The original date was 12/2/13. I charged you $130.00 to clear the line with a 30 day warranty. So it was 4 months and 2 days since my first visit ,not 2 months . Also , the line in question is only 25-30 ft. long. In general it doesn't take that long to clean a line that length.10-15 min. Both times I cleaned the line it roughly took the same amount of time, due to it being a 2" drain line only 25-30ft long. I cleaned the line the same way both times , using a cable machine and water to break up and flush out the line. If I did it again, I would do it the same way as the first 2 times, and it would take the same amount of time. I truly apologize for your line backing up again. If it would have been within the 30 day warranty period, or even just out of warranty, I would have taken care of you no charge. But months out, I got to draw a line somewhere. For the prices I charge, I cant warranty a drain line forever. You also forgot to mention that I gave you a new 6 months warranty and also told you if the new owners had any problems during the warranty period to call me. Also, I am not that hard to deal with, so if you had an issue with the price or service you could have just said something then and we could have worked something out. Nothing was said but thank you. I guess its just easier to bash someone on the internet. I again truly apologize for your drain backing up, and any confusion with the billing and warranty. If you would like your money back, please call me for a prompt refund. I take what I do and what people think of me and my company very seriously and would never take advantage of a customer. It isn't worth $150 to have someone bad mouth me with loose facts. Don McCurry"

Great, honest work. Don did exactly what he said he would do which, in my 25+ years of being a homeowner, is uncommon in the service industry
