Beware of Ms Laura (Loretta) Gau and her daughters.  She told me she was going to manage my properties (I am an out of state owner).  She took my  money and did nothing.  I think she tried to do some work at the beginning but did such a bad job, everything had to be redone.  The houses were in much worse condition than when I bought them.  She swept construction mess into the floor vents, stripped the house of it's original oak trim.  I've heard from several other people since who were also ripped off by her.  She had very convincing stories to tell on the phone so I totally believed her.  She even went so far as to say one of my houses was temporarily rented when the floor was not fit to walk on.   DO NOT WORK WITH HER.

This business is a scam, with Laura lying to trusting investors and demanding high amounts of money, stating construction work is being done when in fact it is not. L G Property consists of Laura, her "boyfriend/contractor", and one or two extended family members with money sent to her sister.  When her scheme was uncovered I demanded my money back, to which she refused. Fraud and conspiracy charges have been filed. There is a long list of people she has cheated (that I know of and have spoken to), as well as judgments. The little amount of work that had been done over a prolonged period of time was shoddy at best.
